Chapter four
After Brad leaves a sleeping Toni, he walks towards the bar to meet Jim and Rob.
“What’s wrong with you? You smell like Toni!” demanded Jim.
“She told me she loves, but I don’t feel the same way.
“You will Brad, wont you!” asked Rob.
“I’m not sure mate”
Both Jim and Rob shared a look but shrugged their shoulders. “Let’s go and see if we are needed back at base” said brad.
Toni woke up knowing Brad had long finished drinking from her and that they had left her alone.
She got up and closed her mind to everyone so she could go and search for some car keys. She thought to herself “if I can’t go to work then I will bring work to me the ultimate revenge, never underestimate a Geordie” she chuckled to herself with that idea.
There were no car keys down in the underground house so she went searching the main house. She walked into the kitchen and saw a key rack next to door.
“Ha ha” she thought “keys” she grabbed them and walked through the door and saw a BMW X5 “wow top of the range too, tinted windows”
Toni unlocked the car and started it as soon as she did the garage door began to open “must be a sensor in here some where”
Toni drove out the garage and watched the garage door close behind her. She drove down a dirt road and turned right on the main road heading north to her main head office.
She watches the rear view mirror thinking that Brad, Jim or Rob would appear out of no where and drag her back kicking and snarling.
Toni kept her mind shut from every one and started to think about Brad “why do I bother with him, he doesn’t love, he hasn’t kissed me since we landed if anything he has become distance from me, oh well looks like I must become distant from them three as well”
Before she was even aware she was parked in her spot at work. She turned the car off and got out walking quickly to the main entrance. Toni saw dean the security guard on duty. She tapped the glass and caught dean’s attention he quickly came to the door and let her inside. “Hi boss, how you doing, your looking healthy is he dead?”
“Hi dean thank you and no Marc are not dead”.
“Oh ok so what brings you here at 3am?” he asked
“look dean I need your help, I want to move offices somewhere I can be safe and work without having to watch to my back, will you help please?”
“Sure boss tell what you want me to do”
Toni told him all the items she need to pack up in the work van and she went with dean to her office to get her folders and other documentation.
“So they turned you then, and killed Kelly?”
Toni was shocked and cursed her self.
“How do you know” she growled not bothering to hide her fangs or her red eyes with black spots in them.
“Chill boss I will explain, i’m a wizard and I put a spell on Kelly and her husband to take you along with them, I would rather have you vampire than a hunters punch bag and play thing”
Toni burst out laughing “do you expect me to believe you dean, come on you a wizard really”
“Yes Toni really watch, my boxes are too heavy for me too move at once make them small and light for me to remove”
Before Toni eyes the boxes grew small and dean picked them all up. “Ok dean i’m open m minded to this”
“Toni that’s is not the best bit you see you are also a half witch as your mother was a witch and your farther is a hunter”.
“look dean if i’m a fucking witch like you say I am then how come I don’t have any powers or know any spells?” she asked.
“You do! You see images clips of what is to come in the future that is the first power we process plus the stronger the blood line the greater the power”.
Toni nodded her head and walk away from him. She went down stairs and waited for him to catch her up “lock up and bring the stuff back to my new place once we get there I want it back to normal ok? Oh and expect a pay rise as you going to teach me to tune into my magic ok”?
Dean nodded his head and went to work van he started it up and waited for Toni to show him the way to her place.
Dean shut his mind from Toni “I cant believe Toni would come back to work and fucking order me about especially when it comes to training her how to channel her fucking magic, oh I will train her alright but it will be slow and it might kill her god I fucking hope so, I know my masters will be pleased with me now”
Toni drove home in silence looking back at Dean “hope he does as he says and helps me with this magic crap” she thought to herself.
She pulled up at the garage and the door opened up she drove in and turned the car off she ran out the garage before the door closed and signalled dean to pull up in front of the door.
She unlocked the door “shit dean they are home and are well pissed do you know any spells?”
Dean nodded his head “you love me, you hate me, you just don’t know, we all know you love the army so return to your love”
Toni could fell their presence leave “they have gone”
Dean nodded “good now lets get this stuff unloaded and packed away before they come back, but please promise me you wont tell them about the witch craft until I have trained you ok?”
Toni nodded her head and walked into the sitting room “just leave the equipment in here dean”
“Right Toni i’m off see you soon for training” Toni showed him to the door and waved him off. Once dean was out off sight she grabbed the boxes and used her vampire speed to get to her office within 5 minuets she had all the equipment in her room.
“Tattoo face” she shouted out.
“Yes Toni”. Toni jumped “I need your money and your hands to update the internet and security to this room and can you do it ASAP, I would pay for it myself but considering you also decided I could not go to work the best form of pay back I could think off was for you too pay for it”.
Tattoo face nodded at “ok Toni that seems fair plus I enjoy watching your fights with them three and i’m assuming they don’t know about this?”
Toni shook her head and smiled “ok Toni I will have it sorted within the next 24 hours for you”.
“Thank you tattoo face”.
“You best get to bed before they return Toni good night”
“Good night tattoo face”.
