The time Preacher and Tulip got back to the apartment the girl was sitting on the couch next to Cassidy who had a look of being completely dumbfound plastered on his face. Seeing that the girl was awake Preacher excited, "Well I'm glad to see that you're okay! How are you feeling?" Not answering the Preacher, Tulip asked in his place, "Did you get some well deserved rest after this idiot hit you with MY car? Which I'm so sorry by the way." She put an apologetic hand to her chest.

Cassidy stared at the girl for the longest time making even Preacher awkward. Cassidy narrowed his eyes and whispered under his breath so that neither Preacher nor Tulip could hear, "I see you you sneaky little git..." Rolling her head slowly over towards Cassidy, the girl greeted him with a twisted smirk and a raised eyebrow making Cassidy wonder if she had a few drinks prior to their return.

"Well, now that you're up. First off I AM sorry for hitting you...second off what's your name? I'm Jesse, and this is Tulip, and the freak sitting next to you is Cassidy." Preacher clapped his hands together as Cassidy furrowed his brow, "Oi! You shitty little git I'm not a freak...you're the freak..." The girl still didn't answer Preacher so Tulip tried once more, "Maybe she's not answering because YOU'RE the one who hit her with MY car!" She emphasized again, "So what's your name dear?"

Still not answering Tulip, she looked towards Cassidy, "You're the only one who hasn't tried. How's about you try?"

"What if she's deaf?" Preacher wondered.

"So, what's your name huh?" Cassidy gave a light punch to the girl's shoulder making her scrunch her nose, and punch him even harder back in the arm making Cassidy rub his arm, and then look towards Preacher, "You saw that right!?" Clearing his throat Preacher motioned Cassidy to continue seeing that he's the one who got any reaction out of the girl at all. Trying again, Cassidy let his arm flop to his side, took in a deep exasperated breath, and then tried again, "So, what's your name." Then he leaned in whispering, "Because you certainly to Hell didn't give it to me before..."

"Lilith." The girl simply stated, but that made Preacher's and Tulip's eyes widen. Snapping his fingers, and pointing to Cassidy quickly Preacher demanded, "Ask something else!"

"Uhh..." Cassidy scratched behind his ear, "Where are your parents? Do you have any?"

"Yes, a father." Lilith stated simply with a small quiet voice.

"Where did you get that tattoo?" Cassidy pointed to her forearm seeing that it moved whenever she shapeshifted.

"My father." Lilith stated simply once more.

"She's not one for words." Tulip bit on her nail, "Maybe he needs to go broader."

Rolling his wrist for Cassidy to ask for more, Cassidy pursed his lips and puffed out his cheeks trying to think of something else, "So...Why aren't you..." He was going to say dead, but quickly changed his mind, "Why aren't you...or don't you call him? I'm sure he's worried sick."

"Trust me...he's not..." Lilith wrung her thumbs together, "He could care less..."

"Oh..." Cassidy shifted his jaw moving on, "Why did you turn off the lights earlier?" Cassidy shot a glare at Lilith, but he suddenly found his throat feeling like it was being choked, but Lilith's face was unmoved.

"Are you okay Cass?" Preacher worried. Continuing to stare at Lilith, Cassidy horsed out, "You're welcome to stay if you'd like." Feeling the tightness around his throat lifting, Cassidy drew his arms back to his lap as Lilith giggled, "I'd love to, thanks!"

"Jesse, this isn't any place for a young girl to be!" Tulip pointed out in a harsh whisper, "She needs to go home!"

"She only has her father, and apparently he doesn't want her." Preacher shrugged, "We got this, right?"

"Sure...sure..." Tulip's lips shifted side to side seeing Cassidy still glaring at Lilith adding, "Are you sure those two will get along?"

"I'm sure they will...Now I'm starving! Let's go get something to eat!" Preacher clapped his hands together as Tulip followed after him, but looked back at Lilith and Cassidy who were still glaring at each other, "Pizza okay with you two?"

"Oui." Lilith gave a pleasant smile as Cassidy kept his eyes on her, "Yeah...yeah that sounds okay."

Waiting until the door shut, Cassidy shoved Lilith's face, "Alright you little shite spawn of Satan...it's just you and me now..." Hearing Dennis singing to his French music in the background Cassidy added, "And Dennis..." Turning back to a woman, Cassidy baffled, "So...are you a woman, or a snake, or a child? What exactly are you?" Leaning into Cassidy, Lilith pursed her lips together, "I'm whatever you want me to be...but as long as Preacher, and that other girl is here...I'm a child...got it?"

"Got...got it..." Cassidy grinned ear to ear as Lilith leaned in to kiss his lips, but the door began to creak open. Turning back to a child, Lilith saw that Cassidy's vampire teeth were appearing from frustration. Only grabbing the keys to the car, Tulip added, "Be back in half an hour tops!" Running his fingers frustrated through his hair Cassidy hissed under his breath. Turning into a woman again, Lilith pleased, "I see you're getting frustrated..."

"You bet I am your arsehole!" Cassidy snapped as his fangs appeared more. Letting one finger slide along one of his fangs, Lilith grinned, "I don't mind...you know...take as much as you want..."

"What...really?" Cassidy shook himself back to reality, "No...no...I can't...I can't go to that..."
