~A stone grave stood firm, staring at me, despite the cold wind that fights against it.
"Ethan Canning. January 1st 2018."
Words were inscribed on the stone, reminding me of that very night where it all began and ended at the same time.~
Aria P.O.V
Where did it all go wrong?
Oh Ethan..Why?
Tears filled with unbearable emotions flooded from my eyes.
"It's been long Ethan."
Silence broken by the fierce sound of the sad wind that lingers.
"I've missed you."
~Where did all this start?~
31/12/2018
"Shit. I forgot how much I hated crowded places."
Well, as long as I am here...
"Let's Party!"
An hour past, jamming to random songs I've never heard of. It was only normal that I became thirsty.
For beer, of course.
Neon spotlight was lit displaying a store.
Ooh.. Free drinks nice..
I was absorbed in chunking down bottles of beer and some fries, that I didn't notice the familiar music that played.
Finally!
I rushed for the center of the crowd, still holding the can of beer. I gulped it all down and threw it away towards the direction of the trash can.
A curse came from the 'trash can'.
"Oops. Sorry!" I called.
Hopefully she isn't the type to hold a grudge.
A few more hours past and I was barely standing.
No I wasn't sleepy nor tired.
I was jumping.
The night was still young and the crowd was still lively.
This is how you spend New Year.
Suddenly, my legs gave away and I stumbled only to be greeted with a familiar voice.
"Again?!!! What did I ever do to you?"
Oh. The 'trash can'.
Our eyes met and the world became silent.
Badump. Badump.
Her eyes turned from rage to.. nostalgic... love?...hurt.... and back to rage again. This time she was all red.
She is beau--
Icy fluid was splashed on my face.
This taste..Coca Cola?
"Miss, I don't recall asking you for some coca cola but if you are desperate, there is something else I want." I topped it with my best wink.
"Y-You really don't have manners, you moron. Can't you see a person standing here?" The way she spoke was really familiar, it reminded me of.., or is it just the work of beer.
She's stuttering. Seems like she was hiding something.
"You're hot." I commented.
"Excuse me?" Now her face was extremely red that it might blow out.
Not embarrassment this time. It was hate. Pure raging hate.
Hehe. She's cute.
I laughed it off, "I said you're h-"
"I know what you said."
"Then?"
"I want an apology."
"Sorry."
"A proper apology!!!"
She's getting more and more interesting.
"I'm sorry for hitting you with a can and also for stepping on your foot. Now can I have your number?"
"Have you always been like this?"
"Yes. Your Name? I'm Ethan."
"No." She replied emotionlessly.
"No? I see your name's No. So, Ms No, would you like to dance with me?"
"I'm leaving."
This is fun.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Not yet." I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me.
"It's just about to get interesting."
"Let go!"
She kicked me in the ---- and broke free.
Oh the pain.
I followed her and there she was lost in the noisy, confusing crowd.
"Ms.No looks like you are lost. Need help?"
"I'm looking for my friends."
"They might've forgotten about you."
"No way!"
"I see. You don't believe me. Say, wanna bet?" I smirked.
She smirked back.
"Game on."
"If I win, you have to listen to my command."
"Isn't it too much?............. Fine.. Deal."
