Aria POV
"Game on."
"If I win, you have to listen to my command."
"Isn't it too much?......Fine....Deal."
For a second I was going to forfeit but it was worth a shot..I think..
"Ok," He clapped his hands with excitement,"I like your courage..Ms.No."
Ha! Let's see who will win...
"And I hate your annoyance."
"Pfft..I know you love me. Admit it you fell for me at first sight." Another wink was directed to me.
Honestly, for a second my mind went blank.
He was right I did.
But that was a long time ago. It was..in the..past...The untold past.
Yet, meeting him again so suddenly...my heart..
"You rea-" I stopped when I heard something which I don't want to believe.
"Guys, Where's Aria?" My name was called by a familiar voice, nonetheless from Brenda, who was only a few feet away from me.
"Who cares. She'll go where she wants to. Look. We're here to party not to look out for some party pooper." said Chloe.
They all nodded.
"Besides, we just used her for money.. duh."
"Yup, let's just forget about her for tonight. Ain't like she is gonna die anyways." Brenda backed her up.
My heart dropped, crashed and shattered.
How did I not know?
I tried my best not to let my anger out and leave them for today. They might just be drunk.
Ughhhhh. I'm DONE!
"Tsk tsk," He rested his hand on my shoulder. "There you go.."
"Hands off." I tried to shake him off.
Badump. Badump.
Sparks flew.
I wish he knew these things make me hope for impossible things.
"I won." A smirk came with it.
Dang. I forgot about the stupid bet that I made with him.
"I was right after all, wasn't I?" He cocked his eyebrow.
"Yeah..yeah, whatever... So, what do you want?"
Stupid.. Stupid.. How was I so stupid to make such a bet?
"Whoah.. Chill Missy. Let's have fun first then we'll see. Ok?"
He's some how right. Why am I even wasting my time on something so..worthless?
"Ok."
"That's my girl. Now come on."
Maybe he might even forget about the bet.
"Wahh. That's my favourite song!" We said it simultaneously.
I looked into his eyes.
Sea Blue eyes.
So mildly, so wild.
So full of excitement.
And breath-taking.
He didn't change at all.
He doesn't seem to remember me. He won't remember me anyway. I was nothing to him.
Why was I hoping?
Now I'm no longer that weak girl from the past. The past shall be left in the past.
I didn't notice that he was also staring at me. I looked away, hiding my red face.
"Ooh.. Look we got the same taste. C'mon. Let's dance the night away."
I just smiled.
He paused. Then he smiled with his bright toothy grin.
Oh how I missed it.
"She can smile."
"Of course, I can." I hit him playfully on the arm, only to he pulled closer to him.
"Tell me..do you still want me to call you Ms.No?"
Now that I thought of it I still haven't told him.
"Ta-Aria. Aria Stones."
Phew that was close.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two more hours passed and it was only 15 minutes before midnight.
A new year.
A new self.
"Have you decided?"
He looked at me questioningly.
"The bet."
"Yup.. Tell me one thing you never told anyone."
"WHAT!!"
"Oh come on. I spent the night with you and I was there for you wasn't I?"
"Yeah.."
"So?"
"I.."
What to do???? But he was right.
It's Time. I'll tell him.
"I'll text you at 12:12 after the concert."
"Sure. No Withdrawing Though."
