Last time on Order Of The Shadows Zytrax a boy with no memories entered in an annual tournament, the prize was a one on one fight with the village's guardian mage. Zytrax ended up making a deal with a mysterious mage to fight in the finals and not hold back. Zytrax and the other mage have fought their way through the competition and have made it to the finals since the end of the last episode. Will Zytrax beat this mage or will he be bested in combat? Find out in this episode of Order Of The Shadows.

This tournament has been a breeze so far... in other words I'm bored and disappointed. Since when did mages become so weak and predictable. All my fights started and ended in the same way. I dodged the attacks and ended it with a shadow punch. But now I feel slightly excited. I've watched that mage that I made a deal with. He's strong, maybe stronger than me. The next and last fight is between us, and for the first time in a while I'm eager.

"Will the next two contenders take their places?," the announcer shouts.

I walk to the arena, so does the other mage. "So," he says, "am I worthy to announce my name to you?"

"Fine," I reply.

He roles his sleeve up. "I am Cronos Titanus," he smirks, "And I'm a Thunder mage."

"A Thunder mage, impressive," I complement. "Your type of magic should be able to rival mine." His smirk fades. I rip off my left sleeve and shout, "I'm a boy with no memory, a boy with no family, a warrior with no reason to fight, I am the only Shadow mage! But you may call me Zytrax Akuma."

"Alright, now we're talkin'," Cronos adds, "This should be fun."

"Are both the contestants ready!?," the announcer shouts. The both of us nod. "Then let the mach begin!"

Neither of us attack right off the bat. We both have a good understanding of how strong the other is. Electricity starts to form around him. He disappears and reappears in front of me multiple times attacking me each time. He's moving too fast for me to block or dodge...at this rate I'm screwed. He stops standing where he was when the fight began. But the bad thing is that he barely lost any energy moving like that, yet something seems off. He attacked me multiple times, but they didn't do any damage and if they did it wasn't much. Is he not trying to hurt me or could it be that his physical attacks aren't that strong. I should be careful. I run straight at him. He takes a defensive stance. As soon as I'm in front of him, he reaches out to grab my arm. I disappear and reappear behind him. I low kick him and as his body flips sideways and starts to fall I try to downward kick him. But he vanishes dodging my kick.

"Nice try but that attack is pretty predictable," Cronos comments sarcasticly.

"Damn! How is he this fast?," I say to myself, "How did he dodge in midair?" I go to attack with consecutive punches, but he continues to easily dodge them. I need to find a weak point to his speed. I'm pretty sure that if I use an enhancement spell I could be able to make contact. I leap back. "Enhancement spe-," I shout interrupted by a fist surrounded by electricity.

"Rule number one to spell casting," Cronos says, "If you are gonna cast an enhancement spell, say it quickly and quietly or else your opponent may try to stop you midway." He pulls his fist away and I immediately cough up blood. "Awww. Is the little ol shadow mage hurt? Does he need a Band-Aid for his bobo?"

I spit blood in his face getting some in his hair. "Looks like you got two things on your face. One of them is my blood. The other thing is what some would call fugly." I try to return the favor by shadow punching him in the stomach, but instead he vanishes behind me and kicks me on the side of my head throwing me across the arena. I guess he was toying with me at the beginning. "Enhancement spell," I whisper geting back up on my feet. "Shadow enhancement one-hundred percent speed and strength." black electricity forms around me. "May I try something?," I ask Cronos.

"Try what?," He replies.

"I want to try something that I've been practicing on you. If I can do some decent damage to you we continue on with the match but if not you can get one free hit on me as strong as you can."

"Okay, deal."

"Alright." A shadow ball forms in my hand and I throw it a few meters above his head. "Get ready." I disappear and reappear attacking Cronos from different angles for about fifteen seconds. Then I appear where I threw my shadow ball which is now fivetimes bigger. "Stage two!," I shout, "GIANT SHADOW BALL!!!" I hurl the ball at Cronos. It covers the arena in smoke.

"Is that the best you can do?," Cronos asks. The smoke clears while Cronos is dusting off his shoulder.

"H-how the hell did you not take any damage?"

"It's simple really," he says as his care free look turns into a cocky smirk, "I dodged it."

"B-but how?"

"Now now. Aren't we forgetting something? You owe me one free attack."

My eyes widen and two words come to my mind....oh shit

A white aura and a shitton of electricity forms around Cronos's right arm. "Thunder punch," he says. He then charges at me and punches me in the stomach. I cough up blood immediately. "Thunder punch: second stage."

"W-what," I say weakly. Another stage? ...Those words reappear in my mind...oh shit.

More electricity forms. "THUNDER CLAP!!!," Cronos shouts.

All of a sudden a shock wave shoots straight through my body like an arrow. I pass out from the pain.

"I guess this mage, no I mean Cronos is stronger than me. Maybe shadow mages aren't really that strong."

"Don't talk like that," a very familiar voice says.

My eyes shoot open. I'm standing on a blue floor and can only see about two meters ahead due to very little light. "Who said that?," I question.

"I did dumbass." A dark figure with a tail horns and wings emerges from the shadows.

Wait now that I get a closer look. "N-no way. H-how is this possible? It can't be. Who are you?"

"I am you."
