It was noon and the sun was bearing down with a heat that was uncomfortable, causing the grass to turn orange and leaving a thin layer of sweat on their foreheads and the back of their necks. Not having expected the day to be this hot, he wore a sleeveless tank shirt causing his arms and the skin peeping above his neckline to burn a light brown whereas Jimin was the smart one between the two--having worn a shirt with short sleeves that at least covered his shoulders despite his lower arms already glowing a golden caramel.

They had time before returning to Hogwarts for the new year, venturing to the seaside to watch the birds flock in the skies and the waves crash upon the shore, the sand hot underneath their feet as they walked hands intertwined letting the lapping waves soothe their soles before retreating back into the ocean. "Do you want to go for a swim?" Yoongi asked nudging Jimin's shoulder lightly, thinking how satisfying the water would feel covering his skin like a cool blanket.

Jimin shook his head, his hair damp on his neck "I didn't bring swimmers" he mumbled crestfallen, staring out to the ocean in earnest where hundreds of others were cooling themselves off in the water.

"Neither did I, but we're both wearing underwear right?" Yoongi asked shamelessly, glancing at the Slytherin--the day was too hot for Yoongi to exist outdoors, nor did he care whether others would judge them that is if they even noticed.

Yoongi would have thought Jimin's cheeks were burnt from the sun as they turned a brilliant shade of pink before he stuttered out "th-that, I, yes of course I am" the boy bit his lip causing Yoongi to raise his eyebrow with mock suspicion.

Jimin noticed and glared at him "I am" he repeated causing a mischievous grin to spread across Yoongi's face before the boy huffed, giving up as he continued to look out onto the ocean, realising the more defensive he got the less Yoongi would believe him.

Which was fair because Yoongi didn't believe him, otherwise he would have convinced the other to take off his pants before the lion swept him off his feet (literally) causing the Slytherin to yelp and grip tightly to Yoongi's arms before starting to squirm and squeal in protest as he realised what the lions intentions were.
"Yoongi! No! I—stop" Jimin whined breathless as he writhed in the Gryffindors arms in protest, a mouse caught in the lion's claws, as Yoongi's grip was surprisingly strong, Holding firm with a wicked grin and amusement dancing in his eyes like the sun rays sparkling on the surface of the water, Yoongi continued moving deeper into the ocean until the waves lapped at his hipbones, holding Jimin barely an inch above the water. "Yoongi!" Jimin's eyes were wide with panic, "put me down! I—no not here I mea—" his words were lost as Yoongi's grip slackened dumping a frantic Jimin into the salty water.

Yoongi laughed, his smile so wide it made his eyes crinkle in the corners as Jimin sputtered coming back up for air, soaking wet as he clawed up Leslie's body like a cat escaping a bath. "How dare-" Jimin mewled angrily, putting all of his weight onto Yoongi's shoulders to sink him with revenge.
Yoongi however through himself into the water willingly, wrapping his arms around the Slytherin and pulling him down with the other, pressing a chaste kiss against his mouth as they sunk under the sea. Jimin pushed against Yoongi's chest angrily as they came back up for air, gasping loudly as oxygen filled his lungs, a smile still dancing on the lion's lips while he stared at the seething Slytherin.

Yoongi sighed as Jimin pushed away from him hard, making his way back to shore "I said I didn't want to!" he cried as Yoongi followed wading through the water behind him. "And now we're going to have to walk around soaked thanks to you"

"Come on don't be mad sunshine" Yoongi said coaxingly, reaching out to wrap his fingers around the others wrist only to have it shaken off angrily.
"Don't call me sunshine" Jimin huffed glancing over his shoulder to glare at the lion only to stare slightly dazed as Yoongi ran his fingers through his wet hair with a sigh, pushing it backwards leaving his forehead bare—before shaking his head and moving faster towards the beach in an attempt to get away from Yoongis reach.
Which wasn't much of an attempt as Yoongi caught up crushing the boy against his chest, arms wrapped around Jimin's torso leaving him incapable of moving except for kicking out his legs. "Baby, stop I'm so—well no, actually I'm not" Yoongi started causing Jimin to all but snarl in response, "you're overreacting it's just water for christ sake,"

"That's. Not. The. Point." Jimin huffed struggling against Yoongi's grip again.

"Jimin, just stop" Yoongi huffed turning the boy around in his arms so he could silence his protests with his mouth, capturing the other's lips with his tasting the salt on his tongue and felt the Slytherin melt under the sun in his arms. He broke away before he became too dazed to process his thoughts, even though his head spun from the kiss, like it always did. He stared at Jimin, hair wet against his forehead, drops of water sliding down his skin and his shirt clung to the boy's chest like a second skin—the snake looked downright illegal and Yoongi was damned if he could have controlled the next kiss. His arms releasing Jimin to tangle his fingers in his hair and pull him in, pressing his lips against the others passionately as though it wasn't enough, it wasn't enough, he needed more. Jimin poured his anger whereas Yoongi poured his need, a shameless battle, completely lost in the taste and the feeling, clinging to each other as though they were drowning, as though Jimin was the oxygen he needed to fill his lungs and yet he still couldn't breathe. It was just too easy and effortless fitting together like two pieces of puzzle was clear and bright as the blinding blue sky.

Breathless, they finally pulled away, Jimin ducking his head in embarrassment as they had completely forgotten where they were. Yoongi however was completely unashamed.

"We will dry within the hour so I don't know why you're so upset" Yoongi asked unfazed with the other as Jimin stumbled, attempting to escape again except Yoongi slid a tight arm around the boy's waist as the moved out of the water. He frowned trying to figure out why the Slytherin was so upset. "We could just strip down to our underwear like I suggested and we would dry faster if your'e that worried—" he continued pausing as Jimin stilled in his arms.
"Unless" realisation dawned on the lion's face, "unless you really aren't wearing underwear?" he turned towards Jimin, facing the Slytherin towards him who let out a cry and pounded against his chest.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Jimin high voice muffled against his salty skin, causing Yoongi to grin maliciously, eyes widening as though he couldn't believe it was true. "I told you I didn't want to swim" his voice mumbled voice defeated, into Yoongi's soaked shirt.

Yoongi smiled into his hair, pressing a tender kiss trying to ignore the heat pooling in his stomach, "it's okay doll face, it's our little secret."
