"Okay class, something came up and class will be cancelled." Jessica, our class rep, who incharge in everything. She is very dedicated leader yet also a computer geek.
The class which is in silent for a moment then become hyper because of the announcement.
"Yeah, horray. It's party time" shout a boy in a silence.
"SHUT UP, AJ" What is so happy about that. The class will be replace anyway. No need to be hype. "
I turned my head to the outside of the class straight to the greenery field. A group of footballers whose having their practice for the final tournament next week. I take a long sigh and leaning my back against the chair. I put my head down looking on the floor whilst somebody tap on my desk.
It's Jessica, my second brain.
"Choii, Kau ni kan, kalau tak buat aku terkejut tak boleh ke, hah? Do you really enjoys making me shock to death like that?" I try to react angrily although I'm not mad at all.
"You are not angry at me, right? I know-lah. Why Alis, why? From far away I can see your long daydream and then sighed. Aigoo! "
"Well, I don't know, Jess. I met Wafiq this morning."
"Okay, then?"
"Let me finish first. Jess, you always like this. Suka chop chop orang punya ayat."
"Sorry, sorry. Overexcited ni."
"Haah. It's good if you know then. Ok, I met Wafiq but he didn't say a word. He just looked at me with empty stare and then he left."
"Just like that and you assume he is weird? Come on, Alis. This is so not you. Alis, whi I know is the one of Wonder woman. Maybe Wafiq is busying himself with the tournament. "
Then she continues that Wafiq is so not playboy type man who easily to fall in love with other girls outside and then Jessica left for Volleyball team meeting. So busy, of her.
"Yeah. Maybe Jess is right. Maybe he is busy. Really busy. Maybe. Be positive Alis. Be it!"
Then bell rings which means school is over and the cheerleader things continue at 2 pm.
I gotta be prepare myself.
