Daeva's P.O.V:

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. 

I woke up to the blaring of my alarm clock at 6:45 am. 

I groaned, rolled over and slammed my fist down on the  clock, effectively shutting it up, and making it the 19 broken one this month. 

I pulled my self out of bed and walked to the bathroom for a quick shower. After about ten minutes I decided that I was clean, dried myself off and walked back into my room to put on clothes.

My fox was suspiciously quiet this morning, most days she was yelling at me 24/7. 

'Hey Lilly you alive in there?' I asked my fox.

'no, I'm not.' 

'oh...good.' 

She growled at me. I just chuckled. 

I walked over to my closet and pulled on a black bra and panties, then a pastel blue sweatshirt and my favorite pair of ripped skinny jeans.

I then  pulled my long chocolate brown hair into a messy bun, grabbed my fake glasses and left my room. 

I pounded down the stairs and made my way to the kitchen where my younger brother Nico was eating a bole of oatmeal. 

"hey little bro"  I said as I ruffled his hair. 

"It's only 4 months" he growled slapping my hand away.

Nico was my half brother, we had the same dad. Are dad was a Vampire and his mom was a human, making him just a vampire. But my mom was a fox shifter, creating me, the half-fox half-vampire hybrid.  

All three of are parents where mates, it wasn't that uncommon for a shifter or werewolf to have more than one or two mates. Odd for humans but not the supernatural community. 

I walked over the fridge grabbing a apple and a blood packet. A nice healthy breakfast. 

I sat down next to Nico and started on my apple.

"soo" I said, trying to start a conversation with him.

" what" 

"I never got the chance to ask, but did it go well at you're swim meet last night?" 

"yah" he said starting to actually get exited "it went really well, I got the fastest score!"

"awesome man, I'm proud of you" I tolled him genuinely happy for my little brother.

'LOOK AT THE TIME NIMROD' Lilly my fox shouted in my head. I glanced down at my watch and saw that it was already  7:37, school starts at 8:15.

"hey Nic, we have to go to school" I said to my brother, as I finished my packet of blood.

Five minutes later we where out the door and in my black Chevrolet, starting the 10 minutest took to get to school.

"here is good" Nico said. I pulled over not far from school to let him out.

Nico and I don't show up to school together because no one knows we are related. How would you explain to someone that a vampire and someone that was supposedly human where brother and sister. You wouldn't, because if you did that would mean you where breaking the law by telling a human the supernatural world existed.
