chap 5. ChatNoir

-name's pov-

His tail was swinging from side to side, his black leather suit was tight on his body and his eyes were looking down at me. -C... ChatNoir, what are you doing here? I asked with a shaky voice and he jumped down from the lamppost. -just patrolling, did I scare you? ChatNoir smirked and walked closer. -n... no, I was just surprised that's all. I tried to sound confident. he chuckled and raised an eyebrow. what does he want anyway? has he been stalking me? -anyway, I wanted to see if you are doing fine after what happened to you yesterday. he smiled, almost like he had read my thoughts. -yea, I'm fine. I smiled back. -and thank you for saving me, I missed the chance to say it yesterday. He looked a bit surprised, but then said in a teasing voice. -oh, why didn't you do it while you were clinging to my chest? I blushed so hard and hit his shoulder playfully. He just laughed. -hey, I was really scared back then.

The blonde superhero placed his arm around my shoulder. -good thing I was there to save you my kitten. he smirked and I swear I could feel his tail crawl around my leg. -nice try ChatNoir, I poked his chin so he backed off me. -go flirt with Ladybug, I bet she is waiting for you. ChatNoir's face changed when I said that, it almost looked like his whole world collapsed Inside of him. -what makes you say that? he asked -well you do flirt with her all the time, I began to explain. -there is a huge community among people who ships you two, there is a lot of fan art and such. ChatNoir looked at me like I was the biggest idiot he had ever met, of course he knew about that. -I have read a few fanfics too... gross. he made a grimace. -thank you for warning me, I joked before I looked at my phone. -oh no, it's getting late. I need to go home, but it was nice to talk to you ChatNoir.

The black cat smiled. -it was nice to talk to you too... umm. -(name), my name is (name). I smiled back and out of nowhere he wrapped his arms around me and gave me a warm hug. He was about a head taller than me, so my chin fell perfectly on his chest and I felt my arms wrap themselves around his waist, pulling him closer to me.

-ChatNoirs pov-

We stood like that for a while, just hugging each other. It felt so nice, and for a split second I imagined that it was Ladybug I had in my arms, but she was out of my league now. (Name) snuggled into my chest which made me blush for some odd reason. -ChatNoir...? She broke the silence. -yes? I tried to use my soft voice. -you smell like Gabriel Agreste's masculine perfume with a hint of cheese. Damn it, that must be from my photoshoot today and Plagg's obsession with camembert. She giggled -I like it, -t... thanks. I didn't know what else to say, my heart started beating faster and I hugged her a bit tighter. (Name) searched for something in her pocket. Please don't look at your phone, please don't say that you have to go. -hey Chat... I'm sorry, but I really have to go now. She pulled away and our 5-minute long hug came to an end. -maybe I'll see you again sometime soon? the girl smiled and I leaned in and kissed her cheek. -I sure hope so, I whispered softly before taking out my stick and hurried home.

I collapsed on my bed, under the weight of all my feelings. -so you like that new girl, huh? Plagg sat down on my pillow next to my head. -I don't know Plagg, maybe I'm just missing Ladybug. I stared up in the roof. -Didn't she slap you in the face? -yes, and maybe it's time for me to move on. My mind went back to (name) and the nice moment we had together just a few minutes ago. I wonder if she has a love interest. I pictured her and ChatNoir watching the sunset together from the Eiffel Tower. Wait, does that mean I... like her?
