Teacher's Pet (Dave Franco)

Chapter 1

11:20 am

School can kinda get boring when you are a girl like me. Right now I am in 3rd period AP biology and we are doing a lesson about cellular respiration. Boring. However, when you are known as one of the smartest girls in your grade you can't act like lessons are boring. You need to be intrigued and always answer questions correctly.

Last year, in grade 11, I had a 97.4% average. I won the academic excellence award and my parents were proud of me, again. This wasn't my first time. Ever since grade 9 when I started to go to Royal Mount Secondary School I have always had the highest average. I just think I'm natural smart as everything just comes to me easily. On the other hand, Brianna who has the second highest average works really hard to get the marks she gets. Her average last year was 96%. 

Mr. Burke:  "Jessica can you please tell me what the kinase enzyme does in Glycolysis?"

Ummm. Wait a second I know this..... ohhh!

"It helps catalyze phosphorylation reactions"

Mr. Burke similes as he says "That is correct"

I always hate when teachers pick on me to answer their questions when no one else would.

RING RING

12:20 pm

During lunch time I usually sit with Brianna however she went off to the library today to go study for a test she has at 5th period. I took out my lunch and ate some of the salad I packed last night. I just realized that it is February and there are four months left until the school year is done. 

I already applied to university and I got accepted to all my programs I applied for. My first choice was McMaster for an accelerated Medical School program. I accepted the program and my conditional offer is to keep a 95% average by the end of the school year which is really easy because as of right now I have a 97% average. 

1:45 pm

For some reason, I fell asleep in the cafeteria and I was awoken by the second bell. Shit, I'm late for AP chemistry. I grabbed my stuff in a hurry and started running to my class. My AP chemistry class was in the basement of my school so by the time I reached the bottom of the stairs I was out of breath. That did not affect me as I continued running. I was running so fast that when I came into the classroom I collided with someone I did not know. 

My head hurted and my stuff was scattered across the floor. I quickly collected my stuff and said 

"Sorry" as I was looking up. 

However, when I looked at the person face my pain suddenly disappeared. I was mesmerized by his face. His face was perfect and when he smiled it turned the room into a sauna. I also noticed how his muscles were so big that it made his shirt look small and about to rip. 

He said " That's okay just take your seat"

I immediately did what he said and ran to go to my seat but I was confused about who was this person and where is our AP chemistry teacher, Ms. Rana?

The hot teacher spoke and said in a deep voice " Hello class, Ms.Rana was in an accident and sustained some bad injuries causing her not being able to teach for the rest of the year. I will substitute in her place and will be your new AP chemistry teacher until the end of the year."

I suddenly got really excited as I will have a hot teacher teaching us some chemistry. The thought just made explode inside. We rarely have hot teachers for AP so it was refreshing seeing someone young and hot as a teacher just like him.

The teacher then said, "By the way I forgot but my name is Mr. Franco."

I almost died inside after hearing his name. It fitted perfectly with his gorgeous looks and his nice personality. For the rest of period, I only stared and admired him and didn't write any notes.

I think I'm going to fail AP chemistry this year

- Each period at this school is one hour and fifteen minutesn long with five minutes inbetween each period for time to get to the next class.
