"Right here?" the lad raises one of his eyebrows, smirking a little.

His question makes me realize what I'd just said. Kill me, now. There's nothing more; I blush like crazy, only wanting to face-palm myself. But his voice - I could literally drown in its depth. And the accent is so strong. The look in his eyes is telling me not to stress, yet my brain seems to be blocked from processing anything else than the beauty of this dark chocolate color.

"I'm sorry, I- I didn't- shit," I curse under my breath. "I didn't mean to say that, I-"

"Alright, it's okay!" Liam chuckles, but it doesn't make me relax - not one bit. In fact, I'm about to faint because Liam's laugh is too beautiful. "You must be Zayn?" the man asks and I nod, a bit too quickly, mentally thanking him for changing the subject.

"Yeah, I'm- that's me," I say, blushing even more because God, I'm so stupid.

Liam giggles - fucking giggles - making my heart flutter. "Okay, so can I come in?" he asks after a few seconds of silence and I only mentally slap myself again. Let him in? No, Zayn, what a stupid idea, let him just stand there. You fool.

"Of course," I mutter in shame, inviting Liam over. I close the door and turn around to face his shining eyes watching me. He's smiling and I notice the left corner of his lips gets a bit higher than the other. Can't deny, it's only making him look sexier.

Bitch, he's waiting for you to move and show him where to go.

I clear my throat and nod at Liam to follow me, trying to focus. These thoughts must vanish from my head before I actually say something stupid. I don't think Liam would be surprised, though; I've already shown him my nerve at the very start. As I slowly lead the guy to meet my family, I try my best to calm down by taking deep breaths. I just got a feeling that tonight's dinner is going to be a disaster.

My dad stands up as soon as he sees us walk into the room. "Liam, welcome! We're all so glad you came," he grins, shaking the man's hand. Liam smiles back. "Thank you very much for inviting me. I actually wa-"

"Oh, hello! You must be Liam?" all of a sudden my mum runs out of the kitchen, which makes me roll my eyes. She always does that - yells at everyone for cutting people off in the middle of a sentence, but of course she is allowed to do that. I mean, of course she is; she is a mother, and she can do anything she wants. Not like us, simple mortals.

"It's pleasure to meet you," Liam takes my mother's hand in his own and kisses it gently, then smiles brightly at her when she giggles. Damn, I don't know what's worse - the fact that my mother acts like a shy little girl or the fact that I'm acting the exact same.

"Oh my, you're so cute," she says.

"You're just being too nice, thank you," he gives her another beautiful smile.

I can see my sister is about to explode and that's exactly what she does. "I'm Waliyha!" she grins at the lad, who raises his brows at the sudden burst, but chuckles after shaking her hand.

"Now I can get a better look at you after you ran away from me like I had herpes or something," he says and my sister's looking like she wants to die right now. "Wow, you look so much like your brother," Liam turns around to take one more look at me. Waliyha scoffs and for the first time in my life, I want to thank my sister for being rude to me because now at least I don't have to respond.

"No, I don't. I am so much prettier than him," she says proudly, making Liam laugh.

Wait, what does this mean? Do you think she's right or wrong? Don't leave me wondering.
