~Ashley's (POV)~
"Boss." Roman said to Hunter while looking away
"Yeah Roman it's not very nice to threaten me." I said crossing my arms. "Right, Hunter?" I said turning to Hunter
"Oh yeah, might have to make his match into a fatal four way now." Hunter said while smirking. Roman rolled his eyes.
"What do you want, Hunter." Roman said tiredly. From what I can tell Roman and Hunter don't see eye to eye much.
"Actually, I'm here for Ashley." Hunter said pointing to me. My stomach became uneasy, but I tried to keep my cool.
"What's up?" I asked turning towards him.
"Well our ring announcer is running late and we don't have anyone to introduce people to the ring." Hunter spoke crossing his arms. "So I was thinking...that maybe you'd be up for it." Hunter asked while I smiled nervously. "Of course only till they get to the arena." Hunter added upon seeing my expression.
"Okay, I'll try not to crash and burn." I said letting out a small laugh.
"Great!" Hunter said while smiling. "You're up in 10." 10 minutes? I don't even know who I'm introducing. "You're introducing Seth and Miz, it's for the Intercontinental championship." Hunter added reading my mind. "Good luck kid." Hunter said patting my back before walking off.
"Oh my gosh." I groaned out laying my head down on the table
"Hey you'll be fine baby girl." Roman said rubbing my shoulder as I looked up.
"You say that now." I said looking up slightly. "Just wait till I start tripping over my own words." I let out a sigh as I leaned my head on my hand.
"You'll be absolutely fine, have some faith." Roman said, I weakly smiled back. "Want me to take you down to the curtain?" Roman asked as I nodded.
"Would you?" I asked. Roman firmly nodded in response. "Thank you." I said while Roman got up.
"No problem." Roman said while taking my hand and helping my sluggish self up.
"This'll be fun." I mumbled to myself as I followed behind Roman.
~~~~~~
I feel sick. I'm currently inside the ring staring out at thousands of people. Did I say I feel sick? My heart is pounding so fast right now. Roman had gave me a 'good luck, you'll do great.' And a pat on the back before he left me. Didn't help my confidence at all.
"You can announce Seth now." Someone said into my earpiece.
"The following contest is scheduled for the Intercontinental championship!" I spoke into the mic trying to banish any nervousness I had. "introducing first to the ring the challenger, resigning in Davenport, Iowa weighing in at 217 pounds, he is Seth Rollins!" Seth's music hit and I stepped into the corner of the ring. Seth did his entrance as I watched, this is crazy. Seth's eyes glanced over me in confusion at first but smiled and walked over towards me.
"You're doing great kid." Seth whispered to me as I mumbled back a muffled thank you as I was told to start introducing Miz
"His opponent from Hollywood, California weighing 221 pounds he is the intercontinental champion, The Miz!" I quick hurried out of the ring and to the bell keepers ring, I didn't want to get smashed.
I watched the match seeing there was nothing else really to do because I had left my phone in the locker room. Seth had the upper hand for most of the match till Miz hit a wicked DDT off the ropes. Taking one out of Orton's books are we now? I thought to myself. Miz went for the pin and I already knew before the match even started that Miz would win. Not because he's better, but because it's a live event and wwe saves big matches for televised events, or pay per views. Usually pay per views. As the bell rang signaling the end of the match I stood up and walked into the ring.
