I got a suspicious text from summer. She wanted to 'talk'. I got in my car and drove to the beach where she said to meet her.
"SUMMER" I yelled and ran to her.
"Freddy..." she was on the verge of crying.
"Sum what's wrong?"
"My parents are getting divorced" now she was full on crying. I engulfed her in a hug.
"I'm so sorry sum"
"I just don't know how I can 'love' someone if I have never seen true love". These words stung a little.
"Sum. I love you. It's okay if you don't love me because you don't know what love feels like. I can wait for the I love you. Just please don't break up with me."
"I wouldn't dare" she rose on her tippy toes and kissed me. I kissed back of course and the we hugged for a while and took a walk on the beach.

I LOVE THIS GIRL. I know she isn't ready to say it back yet but I have full faith she will. Because I know that she will soon know what love feels like and she will be able to say it. Idc if it's not to me (which I hope it is) but soon she is going to find love whether it's with me or someone else she will find it. But for now ILY@summysunshine

I may not have grown up with a stable relationship to look up to but seeing Zamika and Lesme and how much they love each other I have realized that love was right in front of my eyes and in yours.
