I can feel his intense stare on the back of my head as I look away and try to hide the faint blush creeping on my cheeks. His car scent fills my nose.
This is the second time I've ever felt this way, the euphoria kicking in again. I play with the flowers-roses specifically-that he gave earlier when he popped the question. Damn, these flowers look good.
"So?" He tucks my bangs behind my ear making me shiver a bit.
"So what?" I say trying to mask my embarrassment,
"So, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks once again and this time a bit more hushed. I face him and look him in the eyes, his perfect blue eyes that look a lot better that the ocean's color.
He bites his lower lip, "So-"
I crash my lips into his, snaking my hand around his neck as he pulls himself against me. I break the kiss and the smug smirk appears on his mouth again, "So. . . are you my girlfriend now?"
How many times has he said "so" already?
My hands are still around his neck and his breath hot, close to my lips.
I giggle at his question, "Of course, you little unicorn."
That's it.
We're officially dating.
