I groaned as I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I patted around my bed to try and find my phone, it was still going off. I found it on the floor and just as I went to press dismiss, it chose to stop and put itself on snooze. I would have loved to snuggle into my warm bed and just go back off to sleep, but I didn't because I had a while to ride.
I put a lot of effort into crawling out of my bed, it was so damn cold! I felt like me shivering was controlling how I moved. So I slowly shook my way to get some clothes and go in the bathroom to have a shower. As I turned the shower on to heat up, I turned the hair dryer on so I could heat myself up too.
I jumped into the shower, quickly washing myself, and jumped back out. It had to be a quick shower if I had to ride to school. I stood back in front of the hairdryer again and got dressed as quickly as possible. Do you think you could tell that its Winter? Ugh, I hate the cold. Theres only one good thing about Winter, and that's the rain. Except I'm not really liking it now, not after James' accident.
As I was walking out the bathroom mum was walking in, the amount of disgust in her face was extraordinary, must've done something right. I smiled at myself and made it look like I was smiling at her.
"You're NOT going to school dressed like that are you?" She said.
"Well.. As a matter of fact" I tapped my chin. "I am." I smiled walked off to get my stuff so I could leave.
I put my long coat on and made my way out the back to wheel my bike out the front. I went to the shed to try and find a bike lock, and there was a blue one hanging from the door handle. It had a note next to it, it said:
I thought you may need this, so I bought you one last night while your mother was out. - Liam :)
Ah thats nice of him, I guess I will replace his cans of spray paint now. I shoved the chain into my back pack and made my way out the front. I ran inside quickly to say bye to mum and Liam, then left.
It was so cold on the ride to my house. As I arrived I ran to the door, unlocked it, ran up to my room and grabbed all my school books, ran back out the front, locked the door and I was on my way again.
I got to the school and Ryan was waiting for me at the gate, I waved at him and rode past to lock my bike on the bike rack. He didn't wave back so I guess he didn't see me. I walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped and turned around holding his hand to his chest, panting. All I could do was laugh!
"I'm sorry!" I managed to say between laughs.
"Oh you will be!" He said loudly before chasing me around the car park. He managed to catch me, and when he did he picked me up from behind leaving me to flail everywhere.
"Noooo! Put me dooooown!"
"Hey, you asked for it!" He laughed.
"No I didn't" I pouted and he laughed again before putting me down.
"So I may or may not have some good news.." He said softly.
"Hmm? Go on."
He put his face next to my ear and yelled "Luce and Seth are moving here!!!"
"Oh man! My freaken ear! Damn it boy!" I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him.
"Ah! I'm sorry!" He yelped. I released his arm and hugged him.
"You deserved that." I let him go and smiled before continuing "And that is great news."
"Indeed it is." With him saying that the bell rang.
The rest of the school day was a blur.
I rode to a hard wear store quickly to pick up some black spray cans as I promised Liam. I went as fast as I could because I needed to get to James' how to grab some stuff for at Mum's. Gotta make myself feel more at home right?
I got to the front door and ran inside so I could grab all mt things. I grabbed a huge tote bag, and threw a heap of clothes in there. I had no idea whether they were clean or not, but I threw it in there anyway.
My back looked huge by the time I stuffed everything in there, so I grabbed myself another bag for shoes from my closet. I didn't have too many so I threw more crap into it, not knowing what half of it was, but it was stuffed in there anyways.
I zipped up both bags once they were both full and grabbed them so I could leave. As I got to the front door and I turned around to have a good look, I knew I'd miss this place while James and I were both away. I'm going to go see him tomorrow, just so I know he's okay.
I locked the door, threw one bag over my shoulder and the other over the handlebars of my bike. I mounted the bike, took one last look at the house and rode off quickly so mum wouldn't have a fit when I got home.
When I got home, I wheeled my bike out the back, replaced the cans of spray paint in the shed and went inside, both bags slung over my shoulders. I walked in through the back door aqnd saw Liam at the counter making toast.
"Hey Liam, I replaced the paints in the shed. Oh and thank you for the bike lock" I said walking through the kitchen.
"Ah okay, thank you." He smiled. What was making him so happy? Meh. "Also I thought you may have needed it, so I got you one."
"Well thank you for the thought. If you need me, I'll be in my room." I said and walked off.
I made my way up the hall to my room and threw all my stuff onto my bed, plopping myself on the bed beside them. I went through all my clothes, checking if they were clean or not, if they were I'd fold them up and put them away, and if not, they were thrown into the washing basket beside the desk. My shoes were placed at the edge of the bed.
Once I'd finished I took my dirty washing into the laundry and threw on a load then went back to my room. I closed the door behind me and placed my iPod on it's dock to charge and play some music. I'd sat down at my desk and pushed the button on my remote so it'd play and opened my laptop. I pulled up my social life, -if that's what you want to call it- Facebook. I checked everything and after an hour I gave up die to bordem, so I closed the laptop and went to lay on my bed.
I checked the calendar on the corkboard above my bed and noticed something hanging out a little. I tugged on it and it wouldn't budge, so I pulled down the cork board from the wall and my mood changed completely.
