He would sit you on a stool, give you a glass of water asking you what your nightmare was about. When you did he would hug you close as you fell asleep in his arms.

Ban
When you had a nightmare he would cook you a late night snack and warm milk to ease yourself as he just sit in bed with you humming a soothing tune for you to sleep with.

King
Your dad would just bring you your favorite toy and just bring out these tiny little glowing sunflowers as a nightlight for you to sleep with. Sleeping with you to keep you company.

Gowtger
Your bookworm dad would read you a peaceful story to make you fall asleep or ease your dreams with his powers so you can sleep better as he would watch after you in your dream world and make them happy.

Escanor
When you had a nightmare he would talk to you about it and tell you he wouldn't be scared of your nightmare only to startle himself with a dropped utensil making you laugh in the process.
He'd tell you beautiful poetry that made your eyes droop to the lyrical words.
