Ron POV:

Is two days long enough for something to happen?

I leave for two days and I come back to my wife ignoring me!

When I came home, I found Hermione sitting and reading with loads of parchment, ink, and quills on the coffee table. Every now and then she would write some random words down and them continue to read.

"Um, is that a work thing or...." I asked slowly, trying not to startle her.

"N- Actually, yes, it's for work but it's more or less something for me," Hermione explained, looking back at her work. I nodded and went upstairs to our room.

So, that was odd........ I feel like she's lying. Why? Because she's just acting odd. Why does she need so much parchment? And why is she translating Latin words? What ancient books does she need to be the Minister of Magic? I am so confused. Am I missing something here?

What if she's having an affair...... Okay, now that is an odd thought. All that studying can't be because of another man..... Could it? Oh god, she's having an affair! What am I going to do? Should I confront her? Should I just say nothing?

Wait, why am I thinking like this? A husband should trust his wife, not secretly accuse her of cheating. I'm just mental, aren't I?

I sighed and went downstairs, silently apologizing to Hermione. I went into the kitchen and took some stuff out of the pantry, starting to make dinner so Hermione could keep working. She seemed really absorbed in her work, and I was scared to disturb her.

This is normal in wives, right?

Especially when they have important work lives, right?
