It's hard for a group of seven people to get past a bull, especially when it's a mechanical monster and the adult only saw a bulldozer instead of the real thing.

The monstrous machine was still banging against the Goodfellow house, causing it to shake. It probably hadn't realised no one was in it anymore.

Miss Goodfellow and the children sneaked towards the fence that led towards an alley. Emily held her breath. The bull had found Elena and her before when they tried to sneak away, she hoped it wouldn't find them again.

Once they were out of the alley and into another street, they let out a quiet sigh of relief. They walked out of the street and headed towards the docks.
But their moment of relief quickly passed. From another street, the rattling of cogs and the heavy footsteps couldn't be missed.

It had found them again.

Emily's head started racing. If they were together, they'd be too slow and the bull would get them. Maybe kill them.

There was no other option.

"Miss Goodfellow, we need to split up. Elena and I will go another way to the docks."

Elena's mum blinked. Being ordered around by a seven-year-old probably wasn't something that usually happened to her. "But..."

"It's the only way! Trust me!" Emily pleaded.

Miss Goodfellow sighed, "Fine, but promise y—"

But before she could finish Emily grabbed Elena's hand and ran off.

If you'd ask Emily a week before this hectic mess happened that she'd meet a scary lady and get chased by a mechanical machine shaped like a bull twice, she wouldn't have believed you.

She still had a hard time believing, while running away from that machine and heading towards the harbour.

The rattling of cogs and the sound of steam being released in the air was getting closer. The 'monster' clearly knew who was more important. Emily didn't understand herself though.

Luckily the docks were close by.

But she realised she still had a problem.

When they'd make it to Olivia's boat, the bull would still be trying to kill them.

Hmm.

Would it be immune to water?

It was worth a shot.

"We have to get it to the water!" Emily shouted.

"What?" replied Elena.

"The bull! In the water!"

"Oh!"

From behind, the blazing machine was getting nearer and nearer. It was now or never.

"I'm going to get as close to the water as possible!" Elena yelled to her.

"Okay! Be careful!" Emily told her friend.

Elena nodded. While she was running forward, Emily turned left, up against a hill. Far away, she saw a woman standing in front of a boat. She recognised her as her father's colleague who'd come over to their house to discuss work-related stuff.

Emily stretched out her hand and started to wave, hoping Olivia would see her.

Suddenly, she heard someone screaming down below and a huge splash!
