Sophia Parker

"You're glowing."

"Am I?"

"Yes."

"I suppose that's a good thing." I took the last sip of my coffee.

"Plus, you didn't come home last night."

Darn, she knows.

"What makes you think that?" I said, wiping my lips with a napkin.

"Because I knocked on your door twice, including this morning."

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear. I was fast asleep."

"You're terrible at lying."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrugged.

"Whatever. So how did it go yesterday?"

"Oh, it went great."

"Really?"

"Yup."

"Did you show him the surprise?"

"Mhm."

I smiled as I remember the look on his face when he saw the 'surprise'.

"And then... what happened next?"

"We... made up."

"You mean 'made love'?"

"Lily!" I shrieked.

"Come on Sophia! It's written all over your face. Why won't you just tell me already!"

"Okay okay! I'ld tell you."

She squealed and I rolled my eyes at her. She's always been a fan of Mr Wilson, and I'm sure she would be happy to hear what I'm about to tell her.

"So we spent the night together and it was amazing. I finally told him that I love him and we're official now."

"Yay! Finally! I can't believe this is really happening! Sophia and her boss are finally together!"

"He's not my boss Lily." I corrected her. "He hasn't been for a long time."

I should also stop calling him 'Mr Wilson'.

"Oh, that's true. My bad."

"He's my boyfriend now." I smiled dreamily.

"Awww, Sophia has a boyfriend."

"It felt so weird saying it."

"Same, I can't believe we got to this stage."

Me too. I would've never thought we could end up together as an actual couple.

"He's the man of my dreams Lily. I'm so lucky for him to have fallen for a girl like me in the first place. Not to mention all the hassle that I've put him through."

"Honestly, if I were a guy, I wouldn't chase a girl for that long. But you're not lucky, you deserve him. He really loves you."
