Chapter 1|Skylar High

Everyone has a story. My story is Skylar Delilah High. Now, shall we begin the story? Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Jaden. Jaden didn't have the best life. The reason why was because she was pretty lonely. She had her two parents, her brother, and her cat, Snow. However, the reason why she was so lonely without friends was because before she went to high school, she was homeschooled. So high school was her first years of ever being in a school with other kids. Jaden was a really shy girl, so it was hard for her to make friends. Right now, Jaden is a sophomore in high school, and is 16 years old. Jaden was always being bullied by this girl named Amber. Jaden's brother, Ryan, would always tell her to be confident in making new friends. However, Ryan's advice didn't really help Jaden. One day, Jaden had once again been picked on by Amber. So, when Jaden got home, she sat on her bed and cried. She had prayed to God, "When will the day come when I finally meet my forever friend?" The next day, it was almost as if God had answered her prayer. Jaden was walking down down the hallway and someone had knocked her over. As Jaden was picking up her books, someone had said, "Here, let me help you with that." As Jaden looked up, there was a girl who had already picked up most of the books. Jaden was in shock. She had thought to herself, "No one has ever offered to help me before." The girl who had offered to help Jaden pick up her books had her hand out. She said, "Let me help you help." So, Jaden held out her hand and the girl helped her get back on her feet. The girl had said, "I'm Skylar High, what's your name?" Jaden had said, "I'm Jaden June, thank you so much for helping me with my books!" "You're welcome." Skylar said with a closed eyed smile. "By the way, how did you manage to fall like that?" Skylar asked. "Well, for me it happens on a daily basis, but no one ever helps me," Jaden had said. "Oh, well, I'm really sorry to hear that," Skylar said. "It's fine," Jaden said sadly. "It doesn't sound fine to me," Skylar stated. "Are you hurt?" Skylar asked. "No, I'm fine, thanks though," Jaden had said. "Hey, I got to go study, I have to go, bye," Jaden said walking off. "Wait! Do you need help with studying?" Skylar asked. "Um well, sure, I guess," Jaden responded. "Okay then, let's go," Skylar said with a smile.
