Summary:
One city. One song.
Everyone is always running. Whether intentionally or not, they're running from something. It could be your past, it could be the future, it could be absolute nothingness. For Persistence Waters, she's all three. Running from her detached family and the numbness she feels after her mother's suicide. Running with the hope that everything will be alright. For Nathan Haloway, he's running for speed. Running with the determination to discover the entire world and document it all before time catches up to his pace.
Persistence Waters is following a single plan: fulfill her mother's last dying wishes.
It was a simple task, but there was one thing Persistence Waters did not plan for. And that was Nathan Haloway. Unexpected, unsure, unfathomable. He might not be able to save her, but with him, she might just be able to save herself. After all, it is Paris. The city of light. The city of love.
