Forty days and forty nights

Finn's POV
Over a month. It has been forty days since I told jack I liked y/n. Did he talk to her yet? Nope. Not a single word. "Why can't you talk to her Jack!" I said as we got into my car after practice. "Because she's still mad at me about kissing her in front of the whole school!" He said causing me to think back to that night.
Flashback two months earlier

Jacks POV

"Y/n I'm going to kiss you." I whispered to the blond girl "no jack Dylan grazer if you do I s-" I cut her off and smashed my lips on her as everyone stared. I pulled away as she ran off.

I sighed as I started the car and pulled out of the parking spot. I dropped jack off and decided to talk to y/n on my own.

Y/n's pov

I was watching YouTube on my phone when there was a know at my door. I got up and answered it. "I like you!" He blurted out before I realized it was Finn. "What do you mean you like me?" I said as I let him in and we went upstairs. "I like you." He said as he had his head In his hands. "As in?" I said. "As in I like, like you." He said, my eyes went wide. My crush admitted his feeling for me. "Fuck me." I whispered to myself. "Gladly." I heard Finn say. "What?" He looked at me and smiled "oh, nothing." He said as he sat back on my bed. "I like you too you know." I said as I laid back also. "You do!" He said as he sat up looking down at me. "Yes Finn I do." I said looking at the ceiling. "Can I take you on a date?" He said I looked at him. "No." I said blankly. "What! Why!" He said standing up. "Because you've hurt more girls then I can count." I said sitting up.
"But I really like you y/n, I made mistakes in the past but I'm not like that anymore. Please give me just one chance." He said as he got closer to me. "Finn we are best friends we should just, wait." I said trying to be as nice as I could. "Ok, but don't expect me to try again later!" He said. I laughed as I hugged him.

Time skip
I heard a knock at my window, who would be here at 12? I slowly walked over and saw jack. "Oh hey" I said as I opened the window and let him in. "Hey." He said walking to me and hugging me tightly. "Jack what's wrong?" I said confused of why he's hugging me like it's the last time he will. "Don't do it." Was all he said. "Do what." I questioned. "Date Finn." Jack said looking at me in the eyes. "Why." I said looking back at him. "You know why." He said as he walked forward causing me to walk back. "No I don't, jack." I said as we were now against the wall. "Because he doesn't deserve you. I do." He said leaning in which caused me to. He kissed me and I quickly pushed him off. "Nope that felt like kissing my brother." I said walking away. "But, but I like you." He said whining like a little kid. "No jack. But you can stay it's too late to go back." I said as I went into the closet to change. I heard jack sigh as I laid in my bed facing away from him. He was looking at the ceiling, he looked stressed. "I love you." I said laying closer to him, and now facing him. "I love you too." He said putting an arm around me as I put me head on his chest and fell asleep very happy that it was now summer break.

A/n: wow that took so freaking long to write but I really hope you guys like it this is the last chapter for now because I have to write more. Anyways I saw why don't we in concert the other day and it was lit.
