First Fairy Meeting

Chapter 1

So this is my first time using wattpad. So if you can leave me some comments on how to use it better I would be grateful. Also let me know if you like the story or have advice on how to make it better! This is my first time writing something that isn't a yaoi ^_^' Also this will be a gray x reader if u see the name "Misaki Kotaio" that is u the readers! But feel free to use ur own names if you would rather be paired with the ice mage.

It has been over six years since I left my homeland and found my partner Kana. She was an egg when I first found her and there were no parents so I jad brought her egg with me. She had hatched after three days of me carrying her egg with me wherever I went. Her fur was almost all black except for the occasional white spots like her stomach, tail, paws, and her "mask".

The black fur she had matched my long black hair that I often kept in a high ponytail, though it still reached my lower back. Our eyes were complete opposite of one another mine were a dark icey blue and hers were a bright emerald green. Anyways I had left my homeland not because I wanted to but because I had no choice otherwise.

(flash back)

I was doing my daily training with Glaciana, the ice dragon. She was teaching me how to use magic as well as how to speak, read, and write in many different languages. Yet I had been feeling my stomach turn since I left the village earlier. Something terrible was going to happen is what it felt like. When I told Glaciana about it she only gave me a warning.

"Beware of the black dragon, Acnologia."

Afterwards she flew off and I rushed back to my village. When I got back however everything was destroyed and bodies lay mangled and torn. The only sign of who did it was a large black figure fading slowly as it flew away.

(end of flash back)

When Kana hatched from her egg I no longer had to carry her. Occasionally she would want to be held though. I happily did so, otherwise she was flying next to me the entire time. We would stop every so often to rest and find food but we never stayed anywhere long. It was only after six years of living like this did we end up in Magnolia.

When we walked through the town people would stare at us. Some of them looked confused and others looked disapproving. I hung my head after awhile so I wouldn't have to see the disapproving faces. Kana was walking next to me glaring at anyone who gave me a look she didn't like. That is until I ran into someone's back.

I jumped back startled by the sudden contact and was greeted by a young looking man with a scaled scarf. "Hey there! Are you new around here?" he asked me in a rather overly cheerful voice.

"Y-yes but I won't stay long. I'm sorry for bumping into you" I said stuttering as I bowed my head in an apology.

"Hu? Are you heading somewhere?" he asked seeming excited.

Before I could answer a blue cat flew in beside him, "Hey Natsu Lucy is looking for you to go on a quest with her again." the cat said with a sweat drop.

"Who might you to be and why are you pestering us?" Kana said flying up next to me.

"Oh sorry I'm Natsu Dragneel and this guy is my buddy Happy" Natsu responded with a huge grin on his face.

"Aye! Who are you two?" the cat Happy asked.

"I do not see why it should matter to you." Kana spat.

"Now now manners. I'm Misaki Kotaio and this is Kana. I apologize for her rudeness its just we haven't exactly been around other people" I tried to explain while nervously laughing and scratching the back of my head.

"Well do you know any magic Misaki?" Natsu asked looking at me seriously.

"W-well yes" I squeaked out and both Natsu and Happy got huge smiles on their faces.

"Then you should join Fairy Tail! Its a guild full of mages!" Natsu exclaimed excitedly before grabbing my wrist and practically dragging me with him.

Although he was practically forcing me to go with him I got a smile on my face. Something about that stupid grin on his face just made you happier. I ran with him to fairy tail with Kana and Happy flying behind us.
