PROLOGUE

Hello! By the way, I'm Cassandra Alexis Perez and I'm a 4th year high school student. I live here in Australia with my brother and my Dad.

Whereabouts of my Mom?

She died while giving birth to me, and now my dad is sending me to the Philippines because they say I’m no longer safe here. There are people, dangerous people who want to take me away from my dad and my brother. With my dad being a millionaire who owns several major companies, they see me as nothing more than a ransom target.

"Cassy, anak ko, kailangan mo munang lumipat sa Pilipinas. It's for your own safety, my sweetie..." Dad said while holding my hand.

"No dad, paano na lang kayo ni kuya dito? Maraming masamang tao rito. Sumama na lang kayo sa akin." nag-aalalang sabi ko.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine here. Malakas ang connection ko kaya hindi nila ako magagawang saktan, alam mo namang ikaw lang ang kahinaan ko, hindi ba?" malungkot na sabi niya at hinawakan pa ako sa balikat.

"B-but...Okay, F-fine!"

"Good." Dad said and forced a smile at me.

"Be safe here, kuya and take a good care of Dad. Okay?"

"I know, sister. You can trust me on that." my brother said while patting my head gently.

Ginawa ko ang sinabi nila. Inayos ko ang mga gamit na kailangan kong dalhin at kinabukasan ay ipinadala na nga ako sa Pilipinas.

Oh by the way, my brother's name is John Dale Perez and my Dad's name is Jackson Perez.
