Kim Sora was walking back home. Her jacket on top of her head as she calmly walked while rain poured down. She thought it would be a good idea not to take her car today. What a brilliant idea.

She walked with a scold on her face through the dark street. The streets were almost empty as she walked in a normal pace in the rain like an idiot. Good thing rain didn't start until she was halfway to her home.

Her phone rang and she stopped for a second to get it out of her purse. She answered right away seeing the name Namjoon on her screen. "What do you want?" She answere as she continued to walked.

"Yes, hello Sora. How are you? I'm good, thanks for asking." She rolled her eyes at the tone her bestfriend used.

"Yeah, I'm not in the best mood right now, Joon. What is it?"

Namjoon rolled his eyes on the other line. "When are you ever?"

Sora stayed silent, clenching her jaw in frustration as it started to rain more. "Great." She muttered sarcastically.

"What are you doing outside stupid?" He asked as he heard the noise of rain on the other line.

"I thought it was a good idea to not take my car today." She replied a little loud as she fastened her pace.

He chuckled, "Didn't you check the weather?"

     "What do you think?"

"Do you want me to pick you up?" He offered, a bit too nicely for Sora. She'd be damned if he meant it. "You're not going to, even if i say yes."

"You know me so well." He let out a chuckle. "Just careful, you'll get sick."

"Aw, how sweet. You care." A little smile on her lips now. Namjoon was always to make her quickly change your mood even through sarcasm and little meaningless arguments.

"Of course I do, stupid." He replied. "Now go home quickly. We'll come tomorrow morning to check on you."

As she passed by an alleyway, she heard a small whimper, if it wasn't so quite she probably wouldn't hear it. She stopped, "I have to go, Joon. See you." She quickly ended her phone call and curiously walked back to the alleyway. Another small whimper came out, and then a shuffle, she walked to source of it.

A hooded person was crouched down to floor. Knees up to their chest, arms wrapped tightly around them. She took another step ti which he shoot his head up frightened.

Sora noticed his clothes were soaked from the rain, dark brown hair falling to his eyes as she saw a slight movement in his hood. He was a hybrid, she thought. She did see them a lot, Namjoon had a cat hybrid, Seokjin, and her other two friends had one too. She was the only one with a small black cat on her house.

His hood raised as his ears straighten up, feeling threatened by the stranger standing in front of him.

The jacket she held on top of her head slipped to her shoulders. "What are you doing out here in the rain, sweetheart?" She asked softly. She did see a glimpse of a leather collar, so he wasn't a stray which made her wonder.

Sora saw his eyes turn sad and glassy, his lips trembling a bit as he looked down. She crouched down, pulling her soaked jacket over his head stopping the rain from from falling on top of his soaking wet hoodie. He glanced up, seeing her holding a jacket over her head. "Where's your owner? Do you know their number so can i call?"

He shook his head as a tear made its way down to his cheek. "What is it, sweetheart? How can i help you?"

He opened his lips as he tightened his grip on his legs. "H-he k-kicked me out." He stuttered, looking down.

"He kicked you out?" Sora asked surprised. "Why?"

"H-he got m-married. H-his wife hates hybrids..and he k-kicked me out." Tears fell down as he stuttered again.

"My god." She whispered angrily. "What's your name?"

The hybrid looked at Sora with teary eyes, her eyes softened. "Taehyung." He whispered, now shaking from the cold.

"Okay, Taehyung. My name is Kim Sora." She introduced herself with a small smile. "My apartment is not far from here and you can come with me. Only if you want, of course."

"I'm sorry for what happened and you don't deserve to be left in the streets." Sora couldn't help but apologizing for another human's stupidity. How could they do that to him? "I can't leave you here in the rain, you'll get sick. Will you let me help you?"

He studied her for a moment, fear rushing through him, but a little feeling of comfort already coming from her. He was freezing from the wind that was starting to blow and he felt bad for seeing the woman in front of him getting more soaked by the minute as he was under her jacket that prevented rain from falling onto him. "Okay." He replied small, looking down. A warm smile was on her lips as she stood up, offering her hand to him. He hesitated, but softly grabbed it and stood up.

"Hold this up for me." She handed him her jacket and he obeyed. "Don't want you to get more soaked than you already are."

He nodded and looked down as he waited for what else she was going to say. "Come on." She placed her hand on his back and led him to her apartment, walking in a fast pace, well as fast as she could with heals on.

In five minutes they were standing in front of the elevator. Once it opened, the two walked in and Sora pressed six.

Sora took a quick glance back at the hybrid, he was looking down, her jacket in his hands. Her eyes travelled back at the top of his head, seeing his hidden ears. "Taehyung, if you don't mind me asking. What kind of hybrid are you?"

He looked at her once before shifting his gaze back at the floor. His hand reached his hood, hesitating in pulling it down. But when he did, Sora gaped at the two tiger ears. She frowned at the cut that his left ear had, but nonetheless they were beautiful and she continued to look at them.

"Sorry." She apologized as she saw that she made him feel uneasy. "I've never seen a tiger hybrid before. You have beautiful ears." The elevator's door open as the hybrid shot his head to her at the compliment.

"Thank you." He said shyly and she smiled before leading him to her apartment's door. She pulled her keys out of the bag and unlocked it, stepping inside and letting him in before closing the door.
