The sound of thunder had awoken you from your sleep. You looked up, seeing yourself in your dim-lighted office. You sighed as you noticed the stacks of paperwork next to you. You raised both of your hands, wanting to rub your eyes out from the lack of sleep. You took notice of the older blonde male across from you, also doing some paperwork. You groaned as you still had hours before you even finish the tiring work.
Commander Erwin looked up at you, showing off his emotionless face. You have gotten used to the blank staring, everyday, you and Erwin would be sitting in your office and doing paperwork. Reading through articles and organizing battle techniques against the Titans. You had to admit, even with your kind of intelligence, there would always be times where you were always such a klutz.
No matter what day or hour, you always find yourself making mistakes. such as organizing the papers wrong, giving out the opposite orders, or even just accidentally spilling coffee all over Commander Erwin. After many years of you and Erwin being acquaintances, he had grown to love this way about you. Although it may not seem like a possibility, the blonde Commander was always impressed by your doings.
"I'm tired..." You muttered quietly, not wanting to have Commander Erwin scold you with his annoying lectures about finishing the paperwork.
"What was that, Captain (y/n)?" Erwin said, his voice monotone.
You sighed deeply, even if you told him you said nothing, you knew later he would start bothering you about it.
"I said, I'm tired. All of this paperwork is going to take me longer than a whole day to finish." You whispered, not giving a care in the world.
Commander Erwin stood up, slowly walking towards you. You began to slowly lay back against the cushioned chair more, staring at him with wide eyes. You knew he was going to pull on your (h/l) (h/c) hair, he always did when you complained. But instead, he did the unthinkable. Erwin gently grabbed the back of your nape with his calloused hand, he then lightly pecked you on the forehead.
A red tint stained your cheeks as he removed the warmth of his lips away. You stared at him in awe, your (e/c) eyes staring at him, shocked.
"You can go to bed, I can finish this work, ok? And don't worry, I'll join you soon." Erwin looked down at you, giving off a sly grin.
"W-what?" You stuttered out, your cheeks radiating millions of shades of pink.
Erwin just sighed and chuckled a bit, taking note how cute you looked flustered. He lifted you up from the chair, holding you bridal-style. He then proceeded to carry you all the way to your bedroom. Of course, you never knew that the blonde holding you always had a soft side to him. But, you liked it. You enjoyed this side of him.
