"(Y-Y/n) Oz." You stuttered out, cursing how you showed such weakness in front of your assailant. That aside, with a forceful swipe of his paw, you were now on your back, looking up at the tiger above you.

They stared at you-wide eyed. You were in a calming state of panic, but panic was still present as you screamed. The three animals shuddered by the shrill, ear piercing sound and recoiled a little. Taking this as an opportunity you went for door but was stopped by the bear only a few steps away.

"I may be less intelligent than originally, but even I can read your moves-you're so predictable!" It sneered.

"H-How the actual fu-"

"We were cursed." The room was silent for a good minute or so.

"Excuse me, wha-?"

"We were cursed." Said the Lion. "Simple as that." You nodded in understanding despite not understanding squat that came out of their mouths; and evidently, your face gave it away as the Lion opened its mouth.

"My name is Averett. The tiger is Rahim, and the bear is Favian-we're triplets!" He chirped, reminding your of the rock man from Thor: Ragnarok. "We were cursed by-"

The tiger slapped his paw over his brother's mouth before he could spill anything else. Rahim gave him a look to shut up, but it was also rather solemn and sad.

"Cursed by a witch." He finished.

"Well no shit Sherlock. What else could have cursed you?"

"A fairy, a unicorn, a dragon, a warlock, some kings and queens, the list goes on." You stared at the bear dubiously as the other two face-palmed.

"Long story short, since you trespassed on private property, you will help us."

"By doing... what?" You raised an eyebrow, still not believing what is happening.

"Considering that happened thousands of years ago, the flowers are most definitely dead, so we need to travel all the way across the forest to find them."

"And how far away is that?" You begged.

"Depends on how far you make it. It has been thousands of years and we have never made it; then again, we never really tied." Favian declared.

"Never mind the distance, thanks to Rahim over here," Averett snarled. "The wheel of Samsara was broken and the entire world went into chaos, but no human could tell as they haven't been experienced with magic." He offered. "Meaning the fairies are a little deranged and not in their right state of mind; some of the trees come to life the farther out you go and try to swallow you alive-"

"Like those in a fairytale!" Chimed the bear.

"Yeah... like in a fairytale... either way, it's a dangerous journey that you have to endure-wait! Where did you find that?" Asked the Lion harshly, eyes narrowed on the rusted gear. You had started to get bored of the excessive chatter and took out the gear to let your thoughts wander, but you couldn't imagine it would draw this much attention.

"I found it in the water when I jumped. For whatever reason it seems to fit into my own clock judging by its size." You shrugged as you took out the clock. The beasts backed off upon seeing it, wary of its power.

"Why do you cower?" You asked. "It's only a mere pocket watch." You held up the clock by the chain and to them, pointing at it.

"My dear-you have no idea the power you hold. And to handle it so clumsily, this is not how we remember you." Averett's eyes went wide as he realized what he had just implied.
