Chapter 1

A/N This is quite short sorry :-( before we start I need to get something clear. I've read a lot of books in which one of the character's mention that they have a relationship with food and I'm here thinking 'food... are you cheating on me? HOW COULD YOU!' so I need to know the answer. Does anyone else think they're in a serious relationship with food yet, like me, just found out you were cheated on by a random fictional character? Comment!

Waking up is the worst feeling in the world, especially when you're lying on a cold floor surrounded by the cold white mush of yesterday's snowfall. Being an idiot, as soon as I realised I owned nothing, travelling to the coldest place in England seemed like a good idea; The Forest of Dean. In my time of, well it could be considered mourning, for my ex-friends casting a charm to keep me warm or use the lumos charm to give me light, completely slipped my mind. in fact, the only charm I remembered to cast was a protection charm so nothing will see or hear me! The main reason that my mind was attached to this place so much was because of the good memories spent with the people who I so dearly love.

Another reason I travelled here was my parents. After the war I looked for my parents but, as it seems, they became travellers and it will take months to find them. my plan was to set off to find them a week after Fred's funeral. But I can't go on my own, and I have no one.

No one to love.

No one to have my back.

No one to protect me.

No one who I can protect.

No one to be my friend.

No one to be more.

No one.

So, I got up and wondered around, starving with nothing to eat and nothing to do. knowing that if I wanted to survive I would need to get some food, shelter, money etc. But I was stuck. Alone.

I got up slowly, unwillingly, what do I have to get up for? Where can I go? How can I survive? is there any point?

I know that for now I want to stay in Europe, it's safer that way, I know Europe best. Immediately I knew that France, romania, Ireland, Scotland, England and Bulgaria were out of the question! France because I had too many magical connections  there through the triwizard tournament. Romania because charlie; Ron's brother lived there. Ireland scotland and england because they were too close to home. And finally bulgaria because that is the home of viktor krum!

I eventually decided on Amsterdam, it was perfect! I'd always been fascinated by Amsterdam, so much to discover, yet I'd never been there before. Obviously I'd visit Anne Frank's house first. So well known but it was something I was yet to see.

The next challenge was where to stay. Staying in the wizarding world is proving to be impossible, so many people were effected by the war! everyone knows the main people involved, some people blame us, we can't trust anybody.
