Chapter 9

Y/N's POV:

I nervously tapped my foot on the floor as Camila held my hand

"Why are you nervous?" She asked with a laugh

"Hm I'm not nervous" I lied

"I know you are. You tap your foot uncontrollably and rub your hands on your legs when you're nervous" she said

"Wow you know me too well" I said with a laugh

"I'm your wife it's my job" she said with a laugh "now tell me what's wrong"

"I'm just excited to see the baby that's all" I said as I leaned down to kiss her cheek

We were at the doctors office and we were doing her usual check ups where they do an ultrasound and ask Camila how she's doing and what not

"I am too" she said kissing my lips with a smile

"Cabello-Y/LN" we heard someone call

I got up then helped Camila up and lead her to the man

"Hello come in the doctor will see you soon" the nurse said as he led us to a room

Once in I helped Camila on to the chair bed thing and made sure she was comfortable

"You good?" I asked and she nodded. I stood behind her and began to rub her shoulders. My poor baby I knew she was in a lot of pain

She sighed comfortably "Uh that feels good" she said and I leaned down to kiss her forehead

It didn't take too long for the doctor to come in. We greeted each other and he asked Camila a bunch of questions like about how she's eating and what exercises she should do

Then came the part I was excited for. He lifted camilas shirt to show her stomach and I swear I smile every time I see it I literally go heart eyes for it

He then put the gel stuff on her skin and used the machine thing so we can see the baby

And then there was our little one. Well not really I couldn't really tell what was what

I saw our doctor stare at the screen confused then moved the machine around camilas stomach

"Is everything alright?" Camila asked worriedly as she squeezed my hand

The doctor smiled "yea everything is perfect your baby is nice and healthy" he said making us sigh in relief

"Is anything the matter tho?" I asked

"Uh no but you guys told me you don't want me to tell you any details about the sex and stuff like that" he said "so I'll keep it to myself"

"Ugh now I wanna know" Camila said

"Shh it'll be worth it in the end" I said

"It definitely will" he said then turning off the machine and wiping the gel off of camilas stomach

"You guys are blessed" he said with a smile

Camila and i thanked him and with that he said goodbye and left the room

"I wonder what that was about" Camila said sitting up

"I know me too" I said helping her up

"Hmm what if we name her after Sofi?" I said and she giggled

"Why are you so sure it's going to be a girl?" She said

"Well why are you so sure it's going to be a boy?" I asked

"I have mothers instinct" she said

"I have fathers instinct" I said
