Chapter1

Isis

Fire was everywhere a great flash of light burned my vision then I saw it; being not exactly sure what I was looking at. I tried to move closer, but couldn't. Hearing the terrible screams of the boy in front of me, but not being able to make it out.

Sensing my sisters presence I turned but what I saw was not my sister, but was at the same time. Her eyes burned with rage while her hair was of white fire total opposite of our usual black hair. It was in that moment that I finally made out what the boy was saying. My name.
ISIS!!

I woke up.
Seeing my advanced physics teacher I panicked losing my calm demeanour looking down at my desk to regain it I saw the puddle of drool. Quickly wiping it away with jerky motions.

I glanced up at Mr.Fraiser, who looked at me with astonishment, "is everything alright Isis, your usually very interested in the lesson?"

"It's really nothing, just was up late last night working on a science project you know Mrs.Governor, always handing out too much for everyone to handle." I replied. Looking at me with concern he returned to the front leaving us to finish our work. As I've already completed mine I glanced back to my sister. Enya's same black and red hair covering her face, looking really beat up about the fight she had with our parents this morning. Usually they never had fights no matter how hotheaded she was, then again she was in the finals for her gymnastics tournament. Too bad she can't go, my soccer game was the same day and it was my turn.

I hope she'll forgive me.

The lunch bell rang finally letting us free from Mrs.Governors science class. I really hate the gifted classes the teachers were horrible, though Mr.Fraiser was an exception. I pushed my way through the suffocating hallway already knowing my sister would have my lunch, being the quick one she is. I escaped the hallway as I have made it to the abandoned classroom where we normally eat with Beth, Lizzie, and Mike. When I entered Mike was absent (still sick I see) and Beth and Lizzie were fitting over which team was better; team Edward or team Jacob. Sigh. As usual.

That's when I felt it.
A dangerous presence; I stopped in my tracks and peeked out of the corner of my eye, seeing a shadow, I whirled around to find nothing there. Turning back around, I started to walk over to my sister. Halfway the I felt it again, I wasn't the only one, Enya quickly dove for me. We fell to the ground side by side just as an arrow zipped past where my head would have been if my sister hadn't pushed me down in time.

Then just to make things seem more chaotic, the window at the other end of the classroom shattered as a man flew through it. The man was a mountain, then again he would need to be to carry around his five foot German broadsword.

Looking like he had just been in a war he ambled toward us. springing to our feet we bolted out of the classroom and down the hall, I, cursing to myself about the long length of the hallway.

"What's going on?!?! Who is he!?!?!?!?!" Enya frantically questioned me.

"How would I know? I know no more than you do!" I replied calmly yet breathless, though on the inside I was panicking just as much. We turned down the hallway me knowing that there was a janitors closet with a window just around the corner.

"Good idea!" Enya shouted relieved.
Wait, what!? I looked back and saw the man halfway down the hall, then he stumbled and tripped over his sword. that what you get for carrying around that large of a sword. turning my head as we ducked around the corner, I shoved my sister inside the closet I myself following suite.

I leaned against the door catching my breath, and heard him run past. Enya opened the window as I finally caught my breath. I heard her say quick before he realizes and comes back. Did she say that out loud?

"I agree" I nervously stepped towards the window as Enya shot me a confused look.

"Okaay. So where are we headed to??"

"Home" I then shimmied out the window.

As Enya and I approached the house I felt that something was wrong she obviously felt it to, as she looked at me before opening the door. It creaked as we entered the house. I gasped in shock the living room carpet was scarlet and in the middle was my mother, in a crumpled heap obviously dead. My sister burst into tears as I barely held back myself. One thing suddenly came to mind, our father supposed to be home today. I raced to our parents room only to see him strung up on the wall dead as well, my tears leaks from my eyes and dripped down my face.

I heard footsteps down the hall, knowing that Enya wouldn't come up here, for she was still grieving over our mother, I knew the killer was still in the house. Quickly running down the stairs my sister saw my frantic expression. I really hoped we could somehow get out of here! Seeing a shinning light underneath the kitchen door Enya grabbed my hand and dragged me in.
