A/N I'm sorry I haven't been writing lately it's because of the end of school being 1 week away that unfortunately for me means finale exams. So I have been studying. I am so sorry for not writing more often. I'm also thinking of writing another book, but I haven't decided yet. Anyway on to what you came here to do.......read!!! Hope you enjoy it.
Jackson's POV:
I feel the icy water as it hits me. When the girl passed out I switch our spots so that I would get the full force of the hit. I'm glad I did because she would have gotten seriously hurt. I come up for air, which I don't really need cause I'm already dead, and I see that my pack is waiting for me on the shore. I look up at the bridge and see Tod looking at me and the girl, and he looks pissed.
'well he's just going to have to deal with it cause this is my mate and I am going to protect her forever....even if I die in the process.' I look away from him and start swimming to shore. Once I get there my pack scrambled to help me up.
"Help her before me." I said to them. Ed and Jasper came and helped her up while Emmett and Jake came and helped me out of the water. Once I was out I walked up to my mate and picked her up. "This is my mate we are not to hurt her in anyway. Will you guys help me keep her save?" I ask.
"Yeah." Ed said.(haha Ed said rhymes sorry I just had to).
"Of course" Jasper says.
"I'm down with that." Emmett says.
"Fine" Jake says.
"Thank you guys now let's go to our territory before Tod and his gang comes down her to take her away." I say while walking away from them.

She hasn't woken up for a while so I started getting worried. I went over to her to see if there was anything wrong with her. I got over her face to see if I could hear her breathing, but then Ed and Jake started throwing things at each other and made lots of noise. "Stop that racket your going to bring zombies here." I say and right after that I hear a groan. I look down at my mate and see her moving. Then she starts speaking and her voice is so lovely.
Mm, hey you guys I just had the craziest dream. We were on the bridge that you use to get to the rescue boat when a tank came and hit me off the bridge and a hunter came after me, and he TALKED! Can you believe that a zombie talking to a human. I must be going crazy to have such a weird dream. Right?" She says.
My pack laughs and I do too. I look down and see her opening her eyes. Man her (e/c) are so beautiful I don't want to look away. "That wasn't a dream little one. It was real, and yes hunters can speak to humans in fact all special infected can some just chose not to." I tell her. 'Little one....hmm I like it.'
"HA! Your joking. Right?" She asks.
"Nope. Anyway i'm Jackson, or Jack for short, the alpha of the hunter pack." I say.
'I think I love her already'
Oh my God I am so sorry for not updating more often, but now it is Summer and I have more time to update. Anyway I hope you like this chapter because I don't think it's the best I've done, but still. Again I am really sorry for not updating it earlier. I hope you can forgive me. Well have a great summer. Unless your not having a great summer then I wish for you to have a good summer.
