chapter 8

Eren's POV

The day of the Spring Ball had been moved to may, it was now currently May. And I was currently 8 months pregnant.

It was finally the day of the ball, I was a bit nervous. I haven't talked to the people who were going to attend to ball in ages. 'are they gonna bully me for being pregnant' I asked my self but of course no anwser.

"Eren you ready?" Erwin said peaking into my room, I nodded and grabbed my phone from the bed and started walking towards the door.

We walked into the limo, I went on my phone I felt awkward and nervous. 'was it a good idea to go?' I wondered looking out the window.

'Eren I know what your thinking, don't be nervous your with us' Hanji said I smiled and hugged her. She knew it would be hard to remember since, I met Levi at one of the Spring balls.

I had know Levi for almost 7 years now, it still hurts me. I would probably never be over him.

We arrived at the ball, and handed in our passes. Once i entered a was flooded by a bunch of people, man and woman.

"Oh Eren, you look amazing"

"When are you due?"

"What is it like to be a pregnant male??"

"How are you even going to give birth?"

I backed up a little but they just came closer. I was pulled to the side by Bertholdt, "Thanks" I said laughing a little. He smiled and we started talking while we walked around the ballroom. "So where's Reiner?" I asked looking around, "oh he's over there grabing some wine" Bertholdt pointed to the Reiner with 2 glasses of wine.

I sighed, "What's wrong Eren" Reiner asked as he handed the glass to Bertholdt. "I miss drinking" I said looking down, "oh Eren" they both laughed. I guess I laughed to.

"Hey, I'm gonna go walk around" I said as I waved to them. The ballroom was so livly, dancing, music, and the people.

"Watch out sir" I had bumped into a waitress holding a for plate, I backed up but then bumped into someone else's back. "Sorry-" I began but once I fully turned around, I had seen Levi.
"You need to watch where your going Yeager" he said crossing his arms. "Its not my fault Im not clumsy while Pregnant" I muttered.

He tched and walked away without saying anything. I sighed and walked to the outdoor garden, no one was out side since everyone who comes is onto drinking, dancing and what not.

I took a seat on stone bench and looked up to the sky, "Baby Rivai I can't wait to finally meet you" I said as a held my stomach and looked to the stars. "What are you nameing that child?" I was interrupted by a stiff voice from behind. I looked to see Levi, "why name the child that?" He asked leaning on a stone pillar. "Does it matter? Your not gonna be in my son's life anyway. I stared at him, he was looking away but I saw his eyes widen. Tears began to fall from my cheek, "can I asked you something?" I said as I looked back to the beautiful night sky. He stayed quite.

"W-was I not good enough?" I said with tear stained cheeks, he looked at my with no emotion. I stared at him, "was...was all of those years of happiness a lie?" I cried he just stood there.

"Was the time we kissed a lie?"

Nothing, no emotion.

"Was the time we touched a lie?"

He clenched his fist.

"Levi," he finally looked at me.

"Was the time you said you loved me a lie?" I started sobbing. I rubbed my eyes as the shut, and cried like a newborn. I heard Levi move, I thought he would just leave me but he  sat beside me on the bench. "You should get back inside the fireworks are about to start, Lana's probably waiting for you" I said looking away.
I heard everyone counting down for the fireworks.

"5!"

I felt Levi grab my hand, I looked to him.

"4!"

He turned my head.

"3!"

He turned me to face him.

"2!"

Looked into my eyes.

"It wasn't a lie" he whispered.

"1!"

He kissed me.

"Levi?" I asked a bit confused, "I love you" I hugged him tight, "I love you too!" I cried as he wrapped his arms around me.

We ended up going to back to my house and laying on the bed before going to sleep togather. Him kneeling beside the bed. "Can I feel him?" He  asked, I nodded and he his hand on my belly. I guessed Rivai could feel him since he kicked, "Levi's eyes lit up as he proceeded to hugged me. He got into bed and slept him spooning me, with his hand on my stomach. Before going to sleep I one finally thing.

"Guessed we gotta get those marriage papers again" I smiled.

"Yep"
