Today, everyone is having a great time. All except for Shadow, he was thinking about Maria again. Jules immediately noticed this.
Jules: Shadow? Are you alright?
Shadow: I'm fine...
Jules: Shadow, I am your father and it's my job to make sure that my children are completely happy. And I can tell your upset about something.
Shadow: It's just that, I missed my first friend and she's not here anymore. *signs*She's dead..... And to make things worse, I think I'm in love with her now......
Jules: Hmmmm..... I think I can bring her back, because I have the power to bring someone back from the dead.
Shadow: Really? Then... You can bring Maria back?
Jules: Yes, I just need the seven Chaos Emeralds and a small piece of her fur, quill, or hair.
Shadow: Here, I still have her hairbrush and I never removed the hairs. *takes out Maria's hairbrush*
Jules: Hmmmm.... I'm beginning to guess that Maria is a human, isn't she?
Shadow: (nods as an answer)
Jules: Well.... There is a small catch to revive a human back to life. If he/she is a human, he/she is going to be transformed to the mobian species that the person that want to bring him/her back and also the same abilities and even your immortality. But, she will still have her memories of her past life and memories of being a human. So, do you still want to bring her back?
Shadow: If it's the only way to bring her back, then okay.
Shadow get the Chaos Emeralds and told to the others about what he is going to do with the emeralds. The others completely understand that he wants Maria back, so they respect his decision. He give them to his father and arrange them properly and began to recite the Servers Of The Seven Chaos. Suddenly, the Chaos Emeralds began to glow and the piece of Maria's hair began to float. It suddenly glowed in a bright light. Shadow and Jules must cover their eyes to prevent themselves from getting blinded. When light died down, they opened their eyes and found Maria lying on the ground, surrounded by the Chaos Emeralds. She is now a blond mobian hedgehog.

He run towards her and puts her head on his lap. Maria eventually opened her eyes and the first person she saw was non other than Shadow.
