Dark side of the moon

Darkness

I'm left alone in the darkness but this time I don't feel scared, I'm alone but at the same time I feel safe. This feeling only lasting for about three seconds then the fear sets in. I'm unable to move as it spits in my ear "I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN BUT YOU NEVER LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!" All he ever does is yell at me I don't like it very much but he doesn't even leave. Sometimes I wake up before he hurts me but that's only sometimes. No one understands they just think I'm crazy. but I'm not right?

When I finally decide to stand up I can't see what's in front of me, just a couple of hours ago it was light outside. Anyway I start to walk slowly looking for any left over food. I glance over to find a shop maybe I could get something from there. Digging though my pockets I find four pennies a dime and two quarters "ugh."

I sighed disappointed in myself after a while of looking though the window I decided to go in. The man looks up at me then goes back to reading his book. I slowly walk towards him stopping right in front he looks up once more glaring this time "What do you want." "Got anything for 64." I say as I put my coins on the counter, he starts to count them ,then points to the right of him "thanks." Running over to see what he was pointing at,looking around swiftly to see what he was talking about, getting my hopes up a little to much but then only finding 6 of the quarter machines "welp." I put my quarters in and get two gum balls I pop one in my mouth and put the other in my pocket. Turning back to see if the man was looking, I put a candy bar in my pocket quietly and quickly so he won't see anything. I start to walk out when he calls to me "come here boy." My heart racing, at this point I walk over slowly with my head down. He just smiles "have a good night kiddo." I look up at him as my eyes start to water but I wipe them away before he can tell I'm about to cry, smiling back I say "thanks it means a lot." I run out before he can say anything else.

Reaching into my pocket I grad the candy bar nothing big just a fun size snickers bar. I spit the gum out before taking a bite. Then I realize how hungry I actually was, the chocolate was just a little sweeter than what I remember but its still so good I start to walk a little more as I pop the other half in my mouth, rubbing my eyes starting to feel sleepy.I sit down and within a couple of minutes everything goes black. Then I'm left in the darkness without anyone around feeling all alone and hopeless again.
