Prologue

The dark haired woman ran through the forests, her emerald eyes alight with horror. But that wasn't all. Her eyes were glowing. The border couldn't be far now- could it? She couldn't see the stone castle anymore. She could hear the soldiers rushing after her, the torchlight was a deathly orange among the treeline. She gave a small gasp as she lost her footing and crashed to the forest floor, her dress dirtied. Moments later, strong arms pulled her back up to her feet. "Come on! We don't have a whole lot of time!" The woman nodded and allowed her companion to lead her away. The couple staggered through the lush forests, not bothering to check behind them. The woman's companion looked over at her, green eyes wide from under his hood. "Do you have it?!" He hissed. The woman nodded, pulling out the Elder Scroll. "Yes. Now we must hurry," her companion nodded in agreement. The pair stood silently on the shadows and crept past their remaining pursuers. Once they were out of sight, the broke into a run, racing towards the border. Skyrim awaited their arrival.
