After six years.
Abhay walking on road side in New York.
His hands in his pants pockets. Lost in his own thoughts. Didn't care what's happening around him. Couldn't hear anything..couldnt feel anything. He is just breathing. He looks so alone, sad. Like nothing left in him.
Suddenly he felt the air around him changed. He looks around to find someone. But nothing.
He sighs deeply. Shoulders fell hopelessly.
He stopped and looks around. Thinking where to go now. Where he could find some peace. Where he could find his life back. But there is no place where he can stop thinking about piya.
He is standing like a statue. Looking around.
He noticed a girl with curly hair. He could see piya in her.
He hears laughing of kids holding their parents hands.
He covers his ears to stop everything. And closed his eyes.
Foot steps of people around him faded. Laughing of kids stopped. Now he can't hear anything. His mind blocked every noise around him. Abhay refused to hear anything. To see anything.
His hand fell on his sides. eyes still closed. Not able to hear anything.
Suddenly he listened some running foot steps coming closer to him.
He tries to block them but couldn't. Then something crashed on his chest with full force. He jerked back but balanced himself.
He felt a girl in his arms. His life is again in his arms.
He could hear her racing heart beats. Harsh breathing from running.
Girl : help please....
he opens his eyes and looks at the girl still hugging him hiding her face in his chest.
Abhay : p_piya??
She looks up and abhay froze. She is really piya.
Piya shook her head. She looks back and again hides her face in abhay.
Abhay looks behind her. Two guards running towards them.
Abhay hugs piya protectively.
Guards stopped to see her hugging abhay.
Abhay : what's the matter
Guard : she is a thief.
Abhay : what??
Piya shook her head.
Guard : she stole chocolates from shop.
Piya : but i gave money.
Still hiding her face.
Guard : she gave 5 dollars and grabbed chocolates of 20 dollars.
