Chapter 7

"Oh shit!" Jungkook threw himself on the couch in frustration.

"What happened?" Jin asked worriedly while chopping some vegetables.

"Ah this hyung came to me while I was waiting for you guys," he mumbled while running his fingers through his hair, and taking out his phone, "he asked me to give Yoongi hyung a notebook."

"Oh," Jin thought briefly before proceeding to boil the noodles. "Did you get his name? I'll tell Yoongi about it then."

"Namjoon."

The ladle with which Jin was about to taste the soup fell from his hands in surprise. "Huh?"

"Yeah," Jungkook nodded not looking up from the game which he was playing on his phone. "Kim Namjoon. Sounds a bit familiar, I don't know why."

"You mean you spoke to THE Kim Namjoon?" Jin almost shouted in excitement.

"Um yeah? Why is there something wrong?" The younger looked up from his phone.

Blinking a few times, Jin tried to calm his heart by breathing in and out. "His name sounds familiar cause I talk a lot about him."

Jungkook sat still for a few seconds, the information taking time to get inside his head.

"Wait, What!?" He sat up straight. "Oh my god! THE KIM NAMJOON WHO IS AN AMAZING RAPPER, PRODUCER AND A SONG WRITER!? THE ONE WHOM YOU ALWAYS TALK ABOUT AND YOU PROBABLY HAVE A LONG TERM CRUSH ON AND YOU ALWAYS DENY THAT AND AND THE ONE YOU WERE DROOLING OVER THAT DAY WHILE SCROLLING ON INSTAGRAM OH MY GOODNESS HOW COULD I EVEN NOT REALI-"

The over excited teen was cut short by the older clamping his mouth shut, while half yelling, "Jungkookie the neighbors will hear you!! Shoot!!"

"Aish...sorry Hyungie," he looked down but his eyes still gleamed in excitement, "I can't believe I met him finally. Oh my he was so collected and I was so in awe.." Jungkook looked up with stars shining in his eyes.

Jin was walking back towards the kitchen counter but stopped. And turned around swiftly, eyeing Jungkook.

"Don't tell me..you too?"

"Eh.." The younger shook his head trying to get hid brain back to work, "What?"

"Do you also lik-"

"No!!" Jungkook exclaimed, "I just look up to him as a role model now.."

'Ah thank God..' Jin thought to himself as he let out a sigh of relief which didn't go unnoticed by the teen.

"Don't worry hyung!" Jungkook skipped up to him and pushed him to the stove where the were fully booked and ready to be mixed with the soup and other accessories.

"You and Namjoon will soon be the campus's favourite ship!" Jungkook grinned to himself as a wild plan came up in his mind.

"Nah never.." Jin tried to evade it, while blushing hard as a tomato, but Jungkook kept shaking his head and grinning evilly the rest of the evening, noting down every possibilities and events that might take place.

But that'd mean talking to a lot of people...

But..

Jungkook was ready to do that for his hyung, for his father figure.. for the person who gave him his life back..

That night, Jungkook was tossing and turning in his bed. It was past midnight, his English essay was complete, but still he was restless. The reason? He was well aware of it.

The plan. He had to work on it.

So he got up, switched on the bedside lamp and unlocked his phone. He went to the Appstore.

As Jungkook was scrolling through his Appstore he came across Twitter and Instagram.

"Okay, this is it. I'm gonna do this. I can do this. Jeon Jungkook, you can do this."

And the young boy took the decision that changed his life forever..
