It's a hot summer day. Pools are closed because it's Saturday and we need to go shopping, this should be fun. Cars are passing us by, windows up giving us a hint they have AC and that makes me Jell-O. Although ever since I have an Avia Glove I notice just how many people are starting to get them and their pets as well.
" Listen it's 85 degree's out and I can't go in a store? Know what I think of that?" Complained Ebony.
" I think that rules are rules. ..." I looked at him.
We both stopped in front of the store and I knew what was coming. The store was pretty big though, two stories high and at least 100 feet wide. Palm tree's were surrounding it, though I found that to be a bit odd seeing as we're in the north region of the country.

" Hey! Stop it right there! Starolin you know what to do!" Shouted a police officer.
I looked over hearing a bang and shouting to see two pets battling it out right on the parking lot! This was the most exciting thing that happened to me all day! Though I looked at the officers pet and it seemed like nothing I'd ever seen.
" Eb, you see that?" I stared right at it.
" Yeah. ..." Said Ebony watching the battle.
" We should do something" I suggested as Ebony shot me a glance.
I laid my hand on Eboney: " Reform!"
Soon enough I backed up as his body began to grow into a 3.5 foot cat. His sharp nails soon grew into sharp claws as his tail thickened; tripling in length. His fur became darker, from a black to a midnight black. His eyes widened changing to a greenish orange color. His head was almost the size of mine and his white canines stuck out on either side.
" Ebony help Starolin!" I yelled as Ebony soon pounced side by Starolin.
Starolin looked like a raptor type bird. I can't really tell but it has 3 feathers coming out of it's forhead that's a pink shade and a long neck. It's wings were at least 8 feet each and seemed flawless, white and elegant with a pinkish outline. It's tail feathers were long and sturdy used for support. The talons on that thing seem raptor like, one big claw just sticking out. This beauty was nothing pretty; It was at least 2 feet larger than Ebony.
" Hey what's going on?" I asked the police officer running up to her.
" What are you doing kid? This isn't no game! I'm trying to stop a robbery!" The lady demanded.
" Ebony help Starolin take down those pets! I'll help the officer take down the real idiots!" I told Ebony and he nodded and then nodded at Starolin.
Ebony quickly ran towards the pet, it was big and strong. It seemed rodent like and started running after Ebony; teeth chattering and all. It had a thin and long tail, with claws it used to dig through the cement wall.
" Starolin go in for it!" yelled the officer.
I turned around to see news camera's, people taking pictures, recording it, the whole football feild. I grabbed the officer and pointed her toward the bastards responsible for this mess and they were on their way.
" Come on, we can catch them!" I told her.
" No, I'll catch them. You take care of these pets." She instructed and I nodded.
I saw Starolin get whipped into Ebony by that rodent.
" Ebony! Distract that Rodent and then have Starolin get it from behind!" I instructed.
Ebony then Jumped in front of it while Starolin followed his lead and got it from behind, hooked it's claw into it's thick neck and started dragging it down, flapping its wings as hard as it can until the rodent fell straight on its back, paralyzed for the meantime.
" Eb!" I looked over to see Ebony getting pumbled by the other pet, same thing, a rodent but this one was different. By the spikes on it's back, and boy they looked sharp I assumed it was a porcupine.
" Ebony! Use your feet! Or paws. ... Kick!" I yelled, not even sure if he could hear me.
I heard sirens and looked back to see a bunch of flashing lights headed my way. I then saw Ebony kicking the meat out of that porcupine.
" Ebony hurry back!" I instructed as he hurried back by my side.
I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug, him in my arms as he started purring.
" I'm so glad your alright." I said giving him a kiss on the head.
" I'm so glad your my partner." He told me, rubbing against me.
" Put your hands up!" The cop said on the intercom.
I turned around confused and put my hands up behind my head and Ebony hid behind me. A bunch of police with pets themselves rushed around, and some came to me as well.
" I. ...I didn't do nothing, I-" I said being cut off.
" He's fine! Let him go, he actually helped me catch those criminals! Leave him be." Said the officer and they let me go.
I laid my hand on Ebony: " Deform!"
I stood there as I watched him slowly change from 3.5 feet back to a 1 foot black cat with greenish yellow eyes. His oversized canines soon were small and white fangs you could only see with a yawn.
" Ah, I don't get that heal thing?" Ebony said dissapointed.
" You'll live." I rolled my eyes.
" Here I want to give you this." The officer gave me a chip that said " EXP."
" What's this for?" I held up the chip and looked at her.
" What's your name? My name's Officer- Havoni and that chip is an experience chip, it'll help you level up as a trainer." She said smiling and instructing other officers.
" Wow, thanks! My names. ... Cayden." I said smiling.
I inserted the chip and watched the green bar go higher, and higher till I reached level 3!
" Hey where's Starolin?" I asked Officer- Havoni.
" She's right here." Havoni then pointed her out on her shoulder. " She's a dove. A big difference deformed isn't she." She said chuckling.
" What level are you?" I asked.
" Well I upgraded when I hit level 13, i'm currently at level 15." She told me.
" Okay thanks! Ohm I have to still go shopping so, do you mind if I go?" I asked politely, urging to leave.
" Ask her if pets can go in stores!" Ebony groaned.
" Can pets go in stores?" I asked plainly.
" Of course they can, as long as you have an Avia Glove and it's trained that is." She answered.
" Okay thanks, I got to go, By it was nice meeting you!" I waved and started.
" Hear that Eb? You're trained." I taunted chuckling.
After a while of shopping and Ebony pointing at everything he wanted and of complaining until he got it, we were finally out of the cool store and back unto the heat.
" Told you pets can go into stores." Ebony said glaring at me.
" You told me no such thing and by the way, half of these bags are filled with your ego." I talked.
Ebony and I walked home from then, side by side. He may be a pain in the arse but in the end, we're partners and I'll always be the one to push him off my bed in the morning.
