CNN article pops up
"Another young black thug off the street locked up"
My brother, father, uncle, cousin called up
Hold up
Are you okay? where are you holed up?
Trumps America Stocked up
On racist white people who rise up
Egos sized up
"Go back to your country" they type upAny boy in my neighborhood could be next up
I Check up
Messed up
My country tells my brother you're next up
People of color can't mess up
He could be walking down the street skittles in hand
Hands up
Black lives still matter and we still stand up
It's more than just one
It's all of us
"Unemployment rates have gone down"
But crime rates go up
They blow up
We grow up
A race war is all we know
We wake up
Y'all hate us but want to be us
Size up
They lie up
Awake at night thinking of how to destroy us
Keep us
locked down mouths closed
Or they kill us
"It's not a race thing" they always speak up
But When it's your race being torn down then you can say what's up
