You are something real,
Something to touch.
You are the earth below me,
To keep me grounded when life is too much.
You are a lighthouse,
When I'm too close to dangerous shores.
You are a beacon,
To tell me where I need to be.
You are the home for me to return to
And the water deep underground.
You are a reminder
That if I jump I will not fall,
That if I ever need
You'll come running to me.
A compass for when I am lost,
A light when I cannot see,
Medicine when my mind ails me,
A boat so I can cross the seas.
I always know where I can find you,
My head,
My heart,
