Sasha | After School

School was finally fucking over and I was so happy. I couldn't wait to go home, do my homework and finish up my latest cover; Mo Money Mo Problems by Biggie. That was literally one of my favorite songs and it's sad that I'm just now getting around to making a cover of it.

I closed my locker after making sure I had the correct books for my homework and began to head out of the door while looking at my phone.

??: Hey Sasha!

I turned around and saw Ayleo jogging up to me.

Me: Hey Leo, wassup?

We were on nickname basis now, his was Leo of course and mine was Sash or big head as he occasionally calls me.

Leo: Everybody is coming to our house after school and staying the night, you coming?

Me: It's a school night though.

He chuckled.

Leo: And we all go to the same school.

We exited the school doors.

Me: I know, but my mom doesn't allow that.

He chuckled.

Leo: Aight, well we'll see you tomorrow then, big head.

I laugh, rolling my eyes.

Me: Okay.

We parted ways and headed to our vehicles. I unlocked my doors and jumped in after flinging my bags in the back. I started the engine and pulled off, not even bothering with the radio.

I pulled into our garage nineteen minutes later.

I hopped out and dragged myself and my bags inside.

Me: Mom!?

Mom: I'm in the living room!

I tossed my bags on the little bench that was against the wall and headed into the living room. There was a man on the same couch as my mother.

I know this lady isn't trying to move on this quickly.

Me: Uh, who's that?

Mom: This is Kyle, a friend from work.

He stood up and offered me his hand. I looked at it and saw the wedding ring, making me smile.

Me: You're married?

My mom instantly furrowed her eyebrows.

Mom: Sasha!

Kyle: No no, it's fine.

He retracted his hand.

Kyle: I am, as a matter of fact, and to a guy.

My smile grew.

Me: Oh! Okay, well, hi Kyle, I'm Sasha, Sara's daughter.

I offered my hand out to him, and he shook it.

Kyle: Nice to meet you.

Me: Same to you.

We pulled our hands back, and I looked at my mom.

Me: Everyone is going over Mateo and Ayleo's house to spend the night. Is it okay if I go?

One thing my mom did not allow was sleepovers on school nights, so I wouldn't be surprised if she told me no.

She doesn't care about Friday or Saturday nights, but Sunday through Thursday, my ass has to be in my own bed.

Mom: A sleepover? Sasha, you know I don't allow that on weeknights.
