Archie pov
It's 10:45 pm and It's raining so hard and my Dad is meant to be getting back from his trip but isn't here yet. My phone then rings [Archie regular, Fred Bold]

Archie: Hey dad where are you

Fred: Son, I won't be able to get back tonight. It's pouring so hard that it's hard to see where I'm going

Archie: Then what are you going to do?

Fred: I'm going to pull in to the nearest Motel. I'll be back home in the morning. I need to go now but I'll see you tomorrow Morning. Bye

Archie: Bye

I then hang up the phone. and continue writing my song until the doorbell rings. Who could it be at this hour? I head downstairs and open the door to a crying raven haired beauty. "Veronica?" I say "C-can I come in?" she says "Oh yeah sorry of course come in!" I say. I stand aside and she walks in "Hear let me get that for you." I say and help her get her coat off that's soaking wet. "Do you want to get changed into some dry clothes?" I ask and she nods. I pass her a towel so she can dry off. "Do you mind if I have a shower?" she says "You don't even have to ask." I say. She smiles and heads upstairs.

I head back up to my room and turn on the tv while Veronica is in the shower. "Archie?" she says. I look up and see her poking her head out the door "Yeah?" I say "You forgot to give me something to wear." she says "Oh right.. uh sorry." I say and quickly grab a large jumper from my closet an pass it to her "Thanks" she says.

She then comes out and the jumper goes down to her knees. "Thanks for this by the way.." she says "No worries. Do you want to tell me what's wrong?" I say. She nods and sits on the bed next to me "So tonight Me and Reggie went on a date at Pop's..." she says. Oh.. she went on a date with Reggie.. I nod and she continues to speak "And I had to go to the restroom so I went.. Then when I came back I saw Reggie getting in his car with some chick and drove off... He completely forgot about me." she says and starts tearing up. "Ronnie it's okay.." I say and give her a hug and she sobs into my shoulder. It gets me so angry that he just left her there.. he doesn't deserve her. She pulls away "I tried to walk home but I didn't really know where I was going since it was raining but I realised I was on your street.. So I just decided to come in.." she says. "That idiot doesn't deserve you.. You need someone who will actually care for you..." I say. "Like who?" she says. I hesitate for a moment "S-Someone... like me.." I say. I look down knowing that she would disagree but then I feel a soft hand lift my chin up "I'd love that Archie" she says and gives me a soft but long kiss.
