'As I swung my hair feeling every heart beat as the crowd continued to stare in awwe , Claire I heard my name,it sounded like a guy..,his voice was charming I must confess with an accent as I turned to see him I was was eager....

' Claire'!! I heard my name, it was dad,
'Ugggggh'...I groaned as I turned helplessly on my bed looking at him he was standing by my door my dream was interrupted again at the peak this time by dad
'the d-day is here' dad said smiling

Immediately my face lit, the day for me to travel to new York and straight to Montessori college has finally come
"Yay" I said to myself as dad left the room

I was actually tired cause I spent almost the whole night packing my things for school my special soap maa made, she said she got the recipe from her mom in Nigeria

I put on a Grey sweat pant and a fitted crop top with a jacket after I had a long bath, i was set to go as I went down stairs to meet dad and maa

'So long sweet heart I'll miss you so much" maa said as she hugged me while the cab from the airport waited down the steps with a man standing by the door

'Goodbye maa I'll miss you too' I replied as tears filled my eyes
'Goodbye princess I love you... Always 'dad said as he hugged me
'Bye dad' I said as tears rolled down my cheeks, I was still in his embrace

'It's time maam' the man by the cab said as he opened the door waiting for me to come in my boxes had already been packed in the trunk of the car earlier on

I walked down the stairs as I kept waving dad and maa
I entered into the car and the door was closed behind me as the cab man found his way to to the drivers door and entered

I think I saw dad using his napkin to dab his eye a little....he was crying
As the car drove off Straight to the airport where my flight was scheduled for 8'oclock

'Here we are miss olsen' the driver said as he Parked the car at the airport's entrance 'oh! thank you' I replied as I jerked at the sound of his voice I was dozing in the cab, I was really tired from all the stress....

'Wow!' I exclaimed as I entered the aeroplane after all necessary documentation was done at the departure hall it was beautiful it was my first time

'Welcome on board esteemed passengers please fasten your seat belts we are preparing for take off i repeat please fasten your seat belts we are preparing for take off thank you for using north way airlines' said a female voice coming from a speaker

'This is gonna be a long journey' I say to my self as I put on my head phone and the song  new rules starts to play...
