Shards of glass from the demon's mirror
Found their way to my lungs and eyes
So much beauty in the world
So much beauty the glass deprives
The demon's mirror fell from the sky
And turned me into someone I'm not
The frosty seer, as time goes by
I find out life is different
Life is harder than I thought
I listened to the neighbor's nightmare
The glass again took over my brain
I lie in bed for weeks, thinking
I know they know I'm going insane
The demon's mirror fell from the sky
And turned me into someone I'm not
The frosty seer, as time goes by
I find out life is different
Life is harder than I thought.
I have no control over what I see
That foul reflection is becoming the real me
I can try to recall the things I'll be
That strange connection only helps me to see that
The demon's mirror fell from the sky
And turned me into someone I'm not
The frosty seer, as time goes by
I find out life is different
Life is harder than I thought.
A/N: Hey guys! I LOVE you all! SO, I've shared this poem/song with a few close friends and family members, and one of the most common reactions I've gotten is, "This should be made into a song and played during Alex's rampage in the Worlds Collide movie!" I think this is a great idea, but I'm not a songwriter by any means. However, one of my best friends is very vocally talented, and she's going o make my poems into 'song-snippet-things' which we will send to Chris Colfer. My other friend, at emilol5866, (I can't tag her for some reason) will be auditioning for the role of Alex in the upcoming Wishing Spell movie. Thanks so much for reading, every number next to the eye symbol gives me a reason to smile. Now, off to write my next TLOS song! As soon as I think of one...
