Over the past week, more and more of Chloe's things were being shipped out to her house. Beca, however was unsure what to do with it all or how Chloe would want it arranged, so she just left it in the boxes they came in. It was around 4pm and Beca was headed out of the house on her way to Conan O' Brien's studio lot, due to her being on the show tonight. She had her purse, which was more like a small backpack, her laptop in it's case and her phone. Her stylist was meeting her there with her outfit and all the make-up they would put on her face.

She packed all her things into the car and got in, starting it up. She adjusted the radio trying to find a proper station she would want to listen to. She couldn't find anything good, so she just put a mix tape into the CD player of the car. She started driving, knowing she only had about a 15 minute drive ahead of her considering she lived in the middle of LA. She's had plenty of fans show up in her yard, along with paparazzi, but she's tried not to let it bother her.

As she approached the lot she had to show the security guard some identification just to make sure it was her and not some rando off the street. She parked her car in the special guest parking area, which definitely made her feel good. She was living her dream and small things like this really made her realize this. She took all her things from the car and lock it up, heading inside. Once she made it to her dressing room she sat on the couch and took her laptop from it's case. She opened up her music software and plugged in her headphones, just waiting until rehearsal started.

She heard her phone go off and grabbed it from her purse checking to see who it was from. When she read the name on the screen her eyes lit up and she smiled.

Beca opened up the message and responded, 'Hey, how are you?'

Beca opened up the message and responded, 'Hey, how are you?'

A few moments later Chloe responded, 'I'm good. What are you up to?'

'Just relaxing in my dressing room backstage of the Conan show' Beca responded.

'Oh right that's today! I was just about to ask you when that was' Chloe stated.

'You can watch right?' Beca asked, wanting Chloe to watch her because she really cared for the girl.

'Yes of course!' Chloe responded, a smile on her face.

A agent knocked on the door of Beca's dressing room and Beca told them to come in. "We need you on stage in a few minutes..." He stated, then leaving the room, only leaving Beca to give him a small nod.

'Hey I have to get going, but I'll text you when I can!' Beca sent to Chloe. She put her phone back in her purse and shut her laptop, not worried anything would mysteriously disappear. She left the room and went backstage. She was glad it was an easy find, because she usually got lost when she was at talk shows like this. As she walked back stage she saw someone all too familiar. Zac Efron. 'Are you shitting me right now?' Beca thought to herself.

She had a past with the actor and they were very close. After the filming of "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" her and Zac had gotten together and were together for more than a few months. In fact they were almost together for a year and they split things off a mere month ago. Beca kept her cool though and went further backstage pretending not to notice Zac standing off to side.

Zac however noticed her right away and walked up beside her looking straight ahead. "Hey Mitchell" he said, his arms crossed.

"You know I don't like it when you call me that" Beca sighed, looking down at her feet then over and up at Zac.

"Yeah I know..." Zac sighs, clearly still hung up on the small brunette. He would constantly try to message her and get back together with her, but the whole reason they split up in the first place was because of Beca's sexuality and the fact that she was in love with Chloe Beale. She couldn't say she never loved Zac, because she definitely did at one point and she enjoyed being with him, but she just knew it wasn't right. "What happened between us Becs?" he sighed, they were now both facing one another.

"I really don't have time to talk about this right now..." Beca sighs, looking up at the tall boy.

"Then we will talk later?" He asks.

"Ok, we will talk later then..." she sighed. Beca pretty much knew the whole ordeal when it came to talk shows, so when they called her name she walked out onto the stage, pretending she wasn't feeling flustered. She pretended there were people in the audience, smiling and waving. She sat in the armchair beside Conan's desk and they talked with the producers about what to expect tonight on the show and Beca just nodded along with everything they were saying.

When she was done she walked backstage and towards her dressing room so she could start getting ready. As she walked back she passed Zac not speaking to him. "After?" he called as she continued to walk.

"After..." Beca stated, eventually getting back to her dressing room. She was greeted by her stylist and a few other women who were in the room to do her hair and make-up. She soon got dressed and sat in a chair as the women worked on making her beautiful for the cameras. Once she was done she got up and put her heels on. She headed out of the room and backstage, waiting patiently for her turn to go on stage.

In the mean time Chloe was seated in her living room at home, in her pajamas also waiting for Beca to arrive on her small TV screen. "After the commercial break we will have more to talk about with our next guest, Beca Mitchell!" Conan stated. The band began to play some music and the TV went to a commercial.

"Yay!" Chloe cheered quietly, ready to see Beca. She was so proud of the brunette and she felt like she didn't tell Beca that enough. After the commercial was over Becac prepared herself backstage.

"Please welcome my next guest Beca Mitchell" Conan says standing up, gesturing over to the wings of the stage. Beca entered the stage area, a smile on her face as she walked out, waving to the crowd of people as they cheered for her. She greeted Conan giving him a big hug, the height difference between the two people was uncanny and made Chloe giggle.

The two sat down in their respectable seats, getting settled in. "How are you?" Conan asks, leaning on his desk, his hands together.

"I'm doing wonderful how are you?" Beca says mocking him. She was effortlessly funny which is why so many people loved her, but at times Beca could feel herself trying too hard to be funny.

"I'm doing well" Conan smiles. "So let's talk about your new movie coming out in a few days..."

"Yes!" Beca smiles. "Well the movie is called 'The Last Five Years' and it's about a struggling actress named Cathy and a successful writer named Jamie who are in love and it just tells the story of their relationship through song."

"It's a musical?" Conan asks.

"Yes! There is some dialogue, but it's mostly just song. There is one thing you have to know about the movie before you watch it though and that is that Cathy is telling the story from end to beginning and Jamie is telling it from beginning to end" Beca smiles, clearly excited about her new movie.

Chloe sat on her couch eating popcorn with a smile. Beca had recently told her about this movie and even invited her to the premiere, so Chloe was very excited.

"Interesting, but it looks very good and I cannot wait to see it!" Conan says, a picture of the movie cover popping up on a screen. Beca nodded to Conan with a smile. "So what is it with you and Taco Bell?"

"What?" Beca laughs nervously, trying to cover up her love for Taco Bell. After a good conversation about Taco Bell and a short game played by the two, Becas portion of the show was finally over. She headed backstage and changed out of her fancy dress and into a pair of leggings and a crop top. After a while of relaxing and watching the rest of the show from her dressing room, she heard a knock at the door.

She sighed and got up, opening the door where Zac Efron stood. "Can we talk now?" He asks, leaning against the door frame, still dressed in his navy blue suit.

Beca nodded and let him in, shutting the door behind them. She knew she needed to have this conversation with Zac so they sat across from one another at the small table and talked.
