Too late (Moonsun) [Part 2]

Chapter 10: A tempered day.

As I open my eyes, bright lights started scattering everywhere. I flinch at it as I scan the room. All I can see is bright lights preventing any darkness to be seen. I groan at a sudden headache that caused when I sat up straight. Looking for something to drink, I quickly grab the glass of water beside me and drank continuously. I exhaled in and out catching for air to breathe, I feel like someone's chocking me.

My eyes roam around the room and it feels like I am in a hospital room, a small one to be specific. There is just two chairs beside me, a window on my left side, and nothing else. The walls are looking just plain and dusty. I sighed and laid back down on my bed. My head again ached as I groan loudly. Today's feels so off.

Closing my eyes wanting someone to come, I sighed and the events that happened last night made me flinch in the pain. All I can remember is getting hit, nothing else. Not even what happen before that. Just the accident. It's so weird. I don't exactly remember who am I with, just the accident itself. Remembering that made me feel mad and scared at the same time. Scared because it might happen again, and mad because I hated being weak. I don't understand why.

A knock was heard at the door making me smile. Someone came for me, I'm happy. I need someone right now. I want to talk to someone. I'm just bored and uneasy.

"Hello?" A small girly voice was heard as I sit up straight. "Can I come in?" She asks gently, opening the door. She came in examining my features. I feel weird. She's looking at me with a disgusted face. I also look at her the same way she looks at me. She's thin and has pale skin. I don't seem to remember anyone looking like her. I can't remember.

"So, who are you?" I ask unsure of who she is. She chuckle sitting beside me. She gave me another disgusted look as she chuckles again.

"Seriously?" She ask looking like I was joking or something, well I am not. I really don't remember anyone looking like her.

"I really don't know you..." I whispered. She just pat my head giving a lovely smile. Well, that's cute.

"Oh baby, I'm your dearest friend, Seulgi." She said making me smile. I just nod as she sighed slouching at the chair she was sitting on. "You really don't remember who I am...." She whispered with an exaggerating sigh. I just nod trying to memorize her name.

"Tell me something about yourself..." I told her as she smiles.

"Well, ok. I'll tell you something about me and something about 'us'." She wink at me after saying the last part. 'Something about us'??? What does she mean? "I'm Kang Seulgi, your friend, and I had a crush on you when we we're in high school." She said winking again. She's giving me weird feelings. I shake them off with a small smile pretending that I'm comfortable of what the heck she's saying.

"You liked me?" I ask trying to be so interested in this topic. Of course I felt uncomfortable. It just feels wrong.

"Yeah, I was so attracted towards you... but you actually dump me afterwards." She said looking sad but then smiling once again. She must be a cheerful person.

"Oh..." was all I can say. She suddenly touched my face, slightly pinching my cheeks.

"Your cute." She said making me feel fluttered. Well, I am but you are too.

"Thanks..." I whispered as she lean back at her chair. She gave a sigh again and look at me with a weird expression.

"Are you sure you can't remember who I am?" She ask one last time reassuring if I know her. I shake my head telling her no as she sighed heavily. "Well, I hope you get Well, Moonbyul..." She said as she stands up heading for the door. She look back at me one last time before heading out. "Get Well and goodnight moonbyul... get some rest." She told me as she was now out of my sight. I laid back at my bed and sighed as I close my eyes. The time goes so fast, it was so sunny but then I didn't realize that it's already dark outside. I sighed one last time before going off to sleep.

Morning arrives quickly. I sit straight and I felt better than yesterday. My head dosent ache too much but it's still aching, my muscles feel free, and I don't seem to be groaning that much. I stood up and my legs started stumbling once I started walking. I groan a little as I head for the door. I open it slowly and saw the halls so clear and no one seemed to be around. I walk slowly holding into the wall to avoid myself from falling. Still walking, I reach the cafeteria and it's quite packed with patients. I look for a table and sit down groaning again. I sit still for a little while and then my stomach started growling. I head towards the food corner and took bread and just water instead of rice or any juice. I head back towards my room and saw someone sitting on the floor, crying. I just groan again and approach the person slowly. It's a She. I tap her shoulder as I back off immediately not wanting to get hurt. She stood up and look at me. Her face is flowing with tears as I look at her confusingly. She sobs even louder making me flinch at the sound. She move towards my direction as she gets closer and closer. She hug me tightly making my bread and the bottle of water fall from the ground. I groan pushing her off me but she won't budge. I just stayed still until she finally pulls away. I back off and took my fallen bread and the bottle of water as I groan in anger. I gave her a fake smile as she frown.

"Moonbyul..." She whispered as she gets closer towards my direction. I moved backwards and she frowns again.

"Who are you?" I ask receiving another frown from her. She look at me and started crying again.

"You don't remember me?" She ask crying hardly. I groan halfing the bread and gave her the half. She just took and started eating it. "Mo-moon... Byul. Wh-why d-don't  you re-remember meee?" She ask while sobbing and eating at the same time. "Mo-Moon By-byul I am-" I stop her by placing my finger on her lip making her frozen all of a sudden.

"Eat first before saying anything else." I told her calmly as she just look down avoiding eye contact. She started munching on the bread as I did the same. After finishing her bread, she just stare at me making me feel uncomfortable. Every move I do, her eyes would start following me.

"Thank you for the bread." She said still frowning. She cross her arms and then gave me a long stare. I just look away gulping down hardly. She's seriously making me so uncomfortable and I don't like it.

"Could you please stare at something else because your making me so damn uncomfortable." I told her not wanting to look at her. I sit up properly as I started drinking on the bottle of water I had since earlier. She lean on the chair giving me a hard stare, what's up with this person?

"Fine." She said standing up leaving the room. She got some temper going on. I just sighed and went back into sleeping even though I don't feel tired. I think I need some rest. That person almost made my anger explode. I hope she won't come back.
