The rain attacked the windows, as the sun refused to come up. The walls were thin, and screaming with insults.

Children from the next apartment screamed curses as parents did the same.

1:00am.

Granted the time, you still can't sleep.

You've been laying awake on your phone as it illuminates your bored features. As you did, you sighed.

You couldn't sleep.

So many things tugged you.

For one, you could hear your mother in her room, arguing with your dad on the phone as they screamed at each other. Surprisingly, your fathers voice was so loud it broke through the shitty signal loud and clear.

Secondly, the neighbors in the next apartment were spanking their kid for breaking the TV as he screamed and cried.

Thirdly, school. Now, going into detail, the begging of summer break, and getting in a fight with a mean ass teen mom who was still queen bee even as a bitchy un-momed mom. All of her baby daddy's were under her finger, her pinkie even.

Aside from that and back to the fight,

she won.

Only because you let her.

Once she gave birth, you would slap the prissiness and bitchy attitude out of her and kick her kid your hardest and give it brain damage. Cruel, but worth it. Besides , you could pay for your own case, thanks to your job.

Another thing, your job at a small Saturday bar. You sang or played piano. You hated how people - especially old dudes with their dicks in their prune hands every two seconds - stared you down when you sang. You always wore gloved that covered your arms, and the flaps on the dress covered the ret of them, thick ass tights that showed no skin, and no cleavage. You were a singer, not a slut.

Your bestie, Anni Yoo, a foreign exchange student who moved to another city far away from you, passed your mind.

She was kinda annoying, and that's why you liked her.

A lot.

But, that's also why you hated her.

Love confused you, so you all around hated it. You hated being called cute, or having any kind of human contact.

She made you happy.

Too happy.

So, you got over your feelings and became her "soul sister".

You were satisfied with that.

You opened your email. You only had three contacts. Mom, dad, and Anni Yoo. You also liked her because she was easy to vent with. Your fingers explored and controlled the keyboard as you began composing an email.

Subject: An Update, I Guess

Not much has been happy lately. I try my hardest to forget my past, but it's pointless.

I want an excuse.

Someone to tell me, that I did nothing wrong.

  What did I do?

Nothing, in my eyes, I did nothing.

Really, I'm confused.

Well, I know what happened, but not what I did wrong. Okay, okay, I'll tell you.
