"Shit shit SHIT", Soohyun swore under her breath.
Her digital alarm clock read 6:48am. Today was the first day of one of her earlier lectures, which she had obviously not been prepared for.
She did her hair while tripping over her own feet down the stairs of her dorm and headed for the lecture hall. Out of breath from sprinting, Soohyun made her way up to an empty spot in the middle of a whole cluster of students, all loudly chatting with each other.
"Seems like I've missed the chance to get to know people before all the little cliques are formed", she thought, frustrated.
She took a quick glance at a clock on the wall, 7:00. "Thank god", she thought, slumping down onto her seat. She had just barely made it. Just then, the professor walked in and everyone began to quiet down and return to their seats.
It was the first day of a new class and she were starting out fresh. She thought back to her first year when her notes were all over the place and how she never paid attention in classes. She had just barely passed her final exams and she thought back to how horrible the cramming was. "Don't wanna experience that again..." she thought. Soohyun paid close attention to everything the professor was explaining, and carefully took notes of what she thought was the most important. This was the most focused she probably had ever been.
Midway through the lecture, she felt a little odd, like someone was staring at her. She shook off the feeling and returned to furiously jotting down notes, trying to keep up with the professor. A while later, she couldn't take it anymore. Soohyun turned around to see a particularly good looking boy staring right at her. "He's really fucking hot, this isn't good....", she thought, her stomach doing backflips. Anyone would call him good looking, his eyes had a wonderful gleam to them, his hair was bleached a blondish-grey, which really matched his face shape.
"Knock it off you have a boyfriend", she thought to herself, a little ashamed. He turned to one of his friends beside him and Soohyun caught a quick glance of his jawline, it was a sharp killer jawline that looked like it could slice her in half. She quickly turned back around, blushing-but she didn't realize it.
After the lecture was over, Soohyun turned around, looking to ask that guy why he was staring so intensely at her, but he had already left. His friends were still around but he wasn't with them. "I'll catch him tomorrow", she thought to herself, while collecting her things.
"Who the hell was he...??", she wondered walking out of the building.
