Chapter 8

Spending Time with Ray Ray

Maya’s POV

Today, Ray Ray wanted me to spend the day with him. Last year, Ray Ray told me that he created his own clothing line called 2wice Coulture. I believed him, but Ray Ray still wanted me to go with him. “I will go with you, but you have to buy me lunch.” I said to Ray Ray as we were in the car. “Sure. It’s a good thing we both like tacos.” Ray Ray said.

Ray Ray’s POV

I wanted Maya to spend the day with me today because since we came back this summer, I miss spending time with Maya. I also wanted to show Maya my clothing line. I have been working on it since last year and now this is the first year that it is being released. We then arrived at the factory. We got out and walked in the building.

Maya’s POV

Once Ray Ray and I stepped in the building, I was cold. I was so cold, that I was shaking. Ray Ray saw me and looked at me. “You cold?” he asked me. “A Little.” I said. Ray Ray then took off his jacket and put it around my shoulder. “Thanks.” I said. When then walked in a room. I guess this was the workplace, because I saw a bunch of computers.

Ray Ray’s POV

We then walked in the computer room. This was the place where we create the logo and the website of 2wice Coulture. I then saw KG come in the room. “Hey, KG.” I said as I hugged him. “Hey. You came just in time. We need you to put the logo’s on the shirts and hoddies.” KG said. I nodded. Maya and I then followed KG out of the room.

Maya’s POV

So far, I was learning a lot about Ray Ray’s clothing line. I am surprised I did not think about creating my own line at my age. We were walking behind KG, when Ray Ray was holding my hand. “Any reason why you are holding my hand?” I asked as I smiled. “Because, you are my girlfriend and I love you.” Ray Ray said as he kissed my cheek real quick.

 Ray Ray's POV

About a few hours later, it was time for Maya and I to go. We had been here since 11am this morning and we needed to leave. We then said our goodbye’s to everyone and hopped in the car. While driving, Maya and I talked. “Did you enjoy your day?” I asked Maya. “I did. It was very interesting. Thank you.” Maya said. “You welcome. Anytime you want to come with me to the factory, you can.” I said. Maya nodded. We then headed back to Walter’s house.
