Chapter 3: Harry's P.O.V.

Her reply back was almost instant. I unlocked my phone and viewed the message.

I would love to. 10:30? -Madison

A wide grin spread across my face as my fingers raced across the keypad.

Wonderful. See you at Ace Cafè. -Harry xxx

Right at that moment, Louis burst into the room, half-singing, half-screaming.

"FOREVER YOUNG! I WANT TO BE, FO-" he broke off mid-sentence, noticing my smile. "Who's the girl?!" Louis demanded.

BZZ my phone vibrated in my pocket. I quickly snatched it out, immediately forgetting Louis's question. My eyes studied the text.

Great. See you then. -Madison xx

I read it once more, leaving yet again, a smile spreading across my face.

"Madison, eh? Hey...isn't she that girl from the hospital?" Louis investigated. I rotated my head to where he was standing, observing my phone over my shoulder.

"Yeah. She is." I said looking down at my feet. I relaxed into the couch more as Louis strolled towards me from the back of the couch where he was looking at my phone.

"I'm going to see what the lads are up to." He winked at me, stepping out of the room. Once he pushed the door shut I looked down at my phone, still resting in my hands, and a foolish grin rest upon my face once more.

Madison's P.O.V.

My trembling hands nearly dropped my phone as I let out a powerful scream. My first thought was to call my best friend. My hands, still shaky, dialed her number. After about three rings, she picked up, and I couldn't help myself. I let out another scream.

"What?!"

I opened my mouth to tell her, but no words came out.

"Madison, what's happening? Are you being murdered?" Lauren joked. But with too much on my mind, I didn't laugh.

"No. I um...H-Harry Styles a-asked me o-o-out." I stuttered.

"Wow...that's the worst lie anyone has ever told me." Lauren replied.

"It's not a l-lie." I nervously stated.

For a moment, she said nothing and as if finally processing the words, an ear-splitting scream rang through the phone. I loved how Lauren would believe anything I said, even if it sounded completely insane.

"How did this...happen?" she asked

"Well, you know how my mom broke her ankle?"

"Yeah..."

And from there, I told her everything. After we were finally done fan-girling and I hung up the phone, it was 11:47 p.m. So I crawled into the covers of my bed and went to sleep, or should I say, tried to sleep.

The next morning

I slid into the Ace Cafè, the scent of coffee and pastries filling my nostrils. I strode over to a wooden chair and plopped down onto it. At that moment, Madison came in the Cafè. She was wearing a grey and white striped, long-sleeve shirt and I thought of Louis. I smiled to myself and stood up to walk over to her.

"You look lovely." I whispered.

A faint blush crept up on her cheeks and together we walked over to a table for two.

A skinny waitress with fluffy red hair came over to us and asked what we wanted, her eyes on the notepad in front of her.

"Um...I will have a cappuccino." Madison said politely.

The waitress scribbled something down on the notepad.

"And I will have some Chai tea." I smirked.

Her eyes flashed up from the notepad and she let out a gasp.

"Y-your Harry S-S-Styles!" she squealed.

"The one and only." I grinned.

"Could you sign..." she frantically looked around. "...my arm?!"

"Sure" I chuckled.

Once she left, Madison smiled up at me. "That was really nice." she said quietly. The waitress came back and put our drinks on the table, nearly nocking them over. She quickly left blushing. A couple minutes of silence passed until Madison gazed up at me, with curiosity in her eyes.

"I hope it's not rude to ask, but why were you at the hospital the other day?"

"Niall got food poisoning." I said rolling my eyes, but smiling. "He's okay though." I promptly added. Relief flew to her eyes and she smiled.

"Now, let's get to know each other better, shall we?" I suggested. She nodded in agreement. We talked for hours. When it was finally time to leave, I stood up and gave her a peck on the cheek, leaving her blushing and me smiling. I have a feeling I will be smiling a lot more.
